Took my friend here for her birthday and it was great! Staff were informative and kind as it was my first time there with answering questions, and the food was SO good. Friend, her boyfriend, and I had a fantastic time. Would go there again

Stepping into Thai Orchid felt like entering a gentle fairy-tale corner. The tables dressed in white cloths shone softly under the light, and the crystal glasses sparkled as if they remembered some secret celebration.

The dishes arrived like treasures. The red curry was a warm river of flavors — comforting, rich, and tenderly spiced. The papaya salad was fresh as morning rain, light yet full of life. As a delightful gift, the staff offered two little cream cheese rangoon, with a bright and playful dipping sauce that surprised me like a hidden note in a song.

The staff themselves were kind and attentive, as if they knew how to create not just a meal, but an experience. There’s also a cozy bar inside, a place where friends could gather and let conversations flow as smoothly as tea in a porcelain cup.

Thai Orchid is not only a place to eat — it is a place to pause, to enjoy, to feel at home both at lunch and in the quiet beauty of evening.

✨ Thank you for your warmth and magic.

Well the chicken satay had no flavor at all. Smh. However the Drunken noodles were a HOME RUN. cooked perfectly seasoned perfectly and portions were great as well. Service was awesome too. I'll be back.

We enjoyed a delicious meal, along with attentive service during Restaurant Week, 2025. Our server Ken patiently answered our questions regarding various menu options. Thai Orchid is truly a hidden gem in Mission, KS.

Thai Orchid is a must-visit! Fresh, high-quality ingredients create bold, authentic flavors, from the savory dumplings to the rich red curry and fragrant Thai basil stir-fry. The Thai tea and mojito are also fantastic—highly recommended!

Good American-ized Thai food. Not spicy enough though and definitely much too sweet. Everything was sweet! Overall, I'd go again for lunch deal.

10/10!
Another one of my favorite places.
My husband and I get the pad thai, just at different spice levels. The food is great, not the best reheated, but to be honest, no pad thai is. The real MVP here is KEN? I believe that is their name! They are so friendly, knowledgeable, and kind. They are the main reason we keep coming back, even over the food. They are the 10/10!

We were unfortunately disappointed… we had this delivered which is never a problem when we get Thai take-out elsewhere. It arrived in a reasonable and estimate accurate amount of time. Fried foods such as calamari, egg roll, and crab rangoons were all fresh, crunchy and tasty, though the calamari did lack flavor in its breading.
The fried chicken rice was yummy. However, the pad Thai, which is of course a classic staple of Thai restaurants. I’ve tried many of them and love it everywhere as do most people. I kept it simple with chicken and medium spice (which is what I get everywhere else too). Unfortunately, it was not tasty or good, in my opinion. It was dry and all stuck together. The flavor was odd- unlike I’ve ever had in a pad Thai before, and I frankly can’t quite describe it. It was BRIGHT red which I also found different.
All in all, for the price, we will be sticking to other local Thai restaurants.
