I’ve always preferred a dry red wine! Hardly ever drank anything sweeter than that! But I love all of Blue Dogs wines!! I’ve never visited a winery and had a hard time deciding which bottle to purchase !! I Usually only like one or two ! Not here !! All are so good! I do have my seasonally favs, but all are artistically fantastic and unique! Such a quiet and isolated atmosphere here too, we all need to get away and have a sip and some peace. Not a crazy crowded space!

Found this winery at a stall at the Chick Event at Park Place Leawood, KS. Got a bottled slushie and a bottle of the Apollo wine. Both were wonderful, but the Apollo wine is my favorite. It's a rich yet dedicate berry red. Would definitely purchase again.

Blue Dog Winery is in a beautiful, secluded but not too far out location and Sarah and Tracy and their daughter’s and dogs are wonderful and all of their wines are delicious and, their wine slushies are dangerously delicious.
I love shopping small and local. And my favorite Blue Dog is Porch Hound! And now my favorite slushy is Sunset Hooch!

We had such an incredible stop at Blue Dog. We booked on a whim along our trip to visit family and eventually to Ragbrai. Sarah and her daughter were so nice and welcoming. We enjoyed a few wine slushies and got a few bottles of wine to go. We will definitely be back if we pass through this way.
