“Applebee's isn't my first choice for going out to eat, but it's one of the few places open at 9 pm, which is nice. The food is subpar (never cared for it), the steak was tough and mash potatoes were cold. The specialty drinks are on the expensive side but very good and worth it. The service was exceptional, thanks to an awesome waiter who was lively, interactive, and made our experience very enjoyable. He was attentive and helpful and seemed to genuinely like his job. What a rarity! The hostess was also friendly and approachable. This was the best customer service experience we've had in a long time. Newton Applebee's, please keep your staff happy, they are exceptional and we will be back just to experience it again.“
