“We went during breakfast, because Scrambled Sam's in Lyons was closed. Very pleasantly surprised because we'd never been there before. Our waitress was so friendly and great at her job. The food was decently priced and delicious. When everywhere else has increased, they seem to have stayed the same. I was really surprised at how inexpensive everything was, including drinks.”

“This was the first time we had eaten here. It was delicious. I had the fish sandwich and my husband had the bacon cheeseburger. Both were cooked the way you like it. Very juicy. And we also had a milkshake each. These more like, ice cream. No straws needed, but you do need a spoon. I highly recommend them. We'll be back. It is only walk up. And there are two picnic tables to sit. No dining inside.. But it's kind of around the corner from a park, that's where we ate..”

“Dos Amigos is an incredible restaurant in the small town of Sterling. I have eaten there about 20 times and everything I have ever gotten has been incredible. The flavors are strong and robust. The portions are nice and filling. This last time, I got the El Gordo and I had enough for two night's dinner.

The inside seating is comfortable and lively. I have seen groups of 15 sitting together enjoying a meal, and I've seen individual people eating by themselves enjoying the delicious food.

The service is always prompt and efficient. While some servers can feel overbearing or awkward, the servers here have the right amount of engagement so you get what you need. I also appreciate that you just go to the front of the restaurant to pay for your food at the end of the meal, rather than having to wait for the server to bring the check and take your card away.
