I didn’t know what to expect at this location. Being a coffee shop and pizza bar colocated with a climbing gym was quite the odd combination. To my surprise they had traditional coffee offerings on the menu. I opted for a traditional cap and a bbq pizza. The cap was actually made very well with the right amount of foam and ideal temp. Not many shops make a proper cap in the area so this was a nice surprise. The pizza, albeit on the smaller side of things, think personal pan size, was pricey, but flavorful. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Will definitely visit again when I’m in the area for the coffee for sure.

We have dined here twice and our experiences were polar opposites! The first visit service was extremely slow due to 3 parties going on (not a problem because we had the afternoon off and the server and drinks were excellent). The server was a young college-aged female with long brown hair. She was amazing, warm and welcoming, and even though they were very busy, she spoke to us often and took care of us with 5-star service. We loved the pizza, cocktails, and coffee. I posted on FB, something I rarely do, but was very impressed (I retracted the post after our more recent experience). I broke out in a rash from the pizza, but I asked for the "regular gluten-free crust". The staff is trained to question GF orders to see if we need a "kosher-like" GF pizza, meaning avoiding cross-contamination. My daughter ordered the "kosher-type". She broke out in a mild rash (she was unsure if it was due to the pizza since it sounded like a guaranteed GF food, however, the second time confirmed that it was due to the pizza). We returned for our second visit a few days later. The experience was a 180-degree difference. The older woman with blonde, long hair didn't acknowledge us when we entered. She leaned against the counter texting, and had us come up to the bar to get our drink after yelliing across the room that it was ready. She assisted the cook bringing out our food order, but never checked on us otherwise. She looked at my untouched capuccino when setting the pizza down but didn't ask why it was untouched during our long wait, nor when I asked her to pour it out so it didn't fill the dish tub with coffee, when we took our dishes to the basin, as we were leaving. It was the worst capuccino ever - highly acidic and beyond bitter. I planned to order a replacement drink until I noted the horrible service we were receiving - I just wanted to finish and get out of the cold environment asap. This time we ordered the "kosher-type" of GF crust and both my daughter and I had severe reactions that lasted for days (warning to those who are gluten-sensitive).My daughter, who worked as a server during college, commented that it was interesting to note that the older server had more experience in life and years to learn how to treat people (and the place was dead that day, with only one other person there studying), yet it was the young server (who was slammed) who showed social intelligence and exemplary service. It was disappointing that we thought we had found a favorite restaurant one day, and within a week, we returned for one of the worst dining experiences ever and a totally diffent environment - it's interesting how that can happen.

Don't be weirded out that this place is attached to a rock climbing gym lol! Went for a late lunch with my mom and brother and we all really enjoyed our pizza and cheesy bread. Seems very homemade. Service was excellent.

Cute little bar I'm not sure if I'd call it a Kraft bar but it's pretty good and has a good selection. Bartender was very nice.

Love this place! The pizza is delicious! Beers on tap are also great! We love to bring our little one and sit out on the patio and watch the sunset.

Employee that took/made my order was super friendly and we chatted for a while. Place was cute. The matcha latte was pure trash, though. Couldn't even drink it; had to throw it away.

We love Apogee! Great pizza and The service is always super kind and genuine. They seem to really want to go out of their way for your experience and are very attentive. I had an amazing iced tea they made fresh and to order last time I went. I also enjoy their salads. Maybe next time I'll try the climbing next door...

This was such a good find. The iced cold brew with the citrus zest was so yummy. And the pepperoni pizza was so good also. The staff were super friendly and I love that they offer feminine products in the woman's bath room for free!

I have been to many (if not all) of the coffee shops in the Olathe area and Apogee is truly the best. The owner, Corey, is friendly, the atmosphere is vibey, the gluten-free pizza is *chefs kiss*, and the drinks are incredible. (I almost always get a vanilla latte because they make their own syrups in-house, although recently Mallory made me her favorite drink with lavender and it was amazing.) 10/10 recommend Apogee for a well-pulled espresso shot, cocktails, and good eats.Dietary restrictions: The cauliflower crust is really good here.
