Omg 2nd their in 3 weeks. Both times after 5 minutes. I had to seat myself. The bathroom is freaking nasty. I don't wanna take a picture. It's that nasty. I won't be back. Unless my meal is taking care of next time. #
The food my mom and I had was terrible buuut Julia B, our waitress, was amazing and made the visit worth while. She was doing the best she could and was still friendly despite having a lot of tables. Unlike some of these rude people leaving reviews…I understand what it is like to be short staffed and not the only one in the restaurant the waitress revolves around. I hope she knows she’s a rockstar and deserves recognition!

Last night was my first time trying Applebee’s in Kansas City, and unfortunately, the experience fell far short of expectations. I ordered the loaded bacon and chicken cheese fries, but what arrived was a simple plate of fries with chicken—no bacon, cheese, or ranch. I brought this up to the server, and she acknowledged the mistake, mentioning that this had happened multiple times that evening. She assured us that a fresh plate would be out soon, which I appreciated.
However, the second plate of fries was accidentally dropped on the floor, and while these things happen, it was still frustrating. Finally, when the third plate arrived, they were fine, but the experience was already soured.
We ordered two entrees and continued sipping cocktails and watching TV, but after waiting another 20 minutes and seeing neighboring tables also have issues, I asked for an update. To my surprise, when I got the check, the entrees weren’t on it at all—they had been completely forgotten. When I asked the server what happened, she had no explanation other than apologizing and suggesting we “give them another shot.”
We ended up leaving and grabbing Taco Bell instead, which was honestly much more satisfying. I don’t see a reason to return if they can’t consistently bring out basic orders. I was ready to enjoy a full meal with apps, entrees, drinks, and desserts, but this location couldn’t even get past the appetizer.
The only highlight? A cool bike with a skeleton in the back parked in the lot.

They use to be really great. But the food was not very good and the service was flighty. I feel like our waiter was high on something, Somehow the riblet basket wasn't very good. Sauce lightly on one side of the ribs and the fries were old and soggy. My wife's pasta just tasted sub par. For as much as we paid I was very disappointed and will probably not be going to Applebee's again because there are so many better places out there.

We went at 1:30 in the afternoon in an attempt to avoid any lunch rush. There were only two small groups seated and one person at the bar. The hostess escorted us to a table and gave us menus. We sat there for at least 10 minutes and only ever saw the hostess and the bar tender. No one even took our drink order. We ended up leaving. Who knows how long it would have taken them to actually prepare and serve our meal. Seems like this place won’t make it much longer

Food is good. Servers aren't trained properly on each item, if it has in or on it, spicy, salty, loaded pepper, and other ingredients that the guest needs to know about. Due to the short staff at this location, based on more than visit, more servers and staff are needed. Or less customers. We plan on going to different locations, till we strike gold! And not this location, again. One last visit, gave us a nasty horrible server. She has a nasty personality and a horrible attitude. She would be perfect as a prison guard. Obviously, we left, never to come back!

My fiancé Tony Forth and I have been going here for the past 3 years. We go every time he comes up. We love the service, we became friends with one of the waitresses there. She's really nice and what's awesome is that as soon as we step into the door she has our drinks on the table already and she asks if it's our usual. For me I always have chicken quesidilla's w/sour cream Tony has either a cheeseburger and fries or steak parmeasean and shrimp. While we wait for our food he plays our songs " I DO " Paul Brandt, " This is IT " Scotty McCreery and sings them to me......

Usually go to the one on 63rdst but for time sake we went to this one,the appetizers were good, nice salad...we made it there at 9:15pm they close at 10:00pm which we know as a rule of mine that is a big no no,service was slow ,they said we had to order br 9:30,the chicken sandwich was bland and dry,supposed yo have been a ranch chicken and bacon,there was a dot of ranch dressing ,the fries were cold an hard. .we know I love hot fries,took 5min.to find the server to send them back
