The chicken fried chicken was very good - the chicken was tender and the breading was crispy and delicious. I swapped the corn for fresh green beans with bacon. The garlic mashed potatoes and gravy complimented the chicken. The servers were around several times to make sure we had everything we needed. The atmosphere was lively, but it was loud.

to start, we were greeted yes but it took 15 minutes to be asked if we wanted drinks. when discussing drinks, i asked all kinds of questions. drink specials, coke or pepsi, what kind of bloody mary mix was used. our server barely knew the answers. i asked the dinner specials which she knew and then told me “we changed the prices on everything so the drinks with tito’s will be around $4.” then proceeds to tell me that the bloody marys are made with well.

my dinner date then had to ask EIGHT times to get the tv changed to the chiefs game and it wasn’t changed until three minutes before kick off.

not to mention, there was a table behind us out on the patio that was playing craps at the table, buying beer at the liquor store down the way to bring back to the table (which is illegal), and taking food out to a car which sounded like it had their older kids inside. they looked to be minors but i couldn’t confirm. i found out that the guy who was hosting the craps game and buying the beer is an EMPLOYEE of this place. it seemed like they didn’t care whatsoever that this was happening.

and finally, my entire plate was pretty much overcooked. save yourself the hassle and just go to johnnys where the food is properly cooked and they don’t allow outside drinks illegally.

Terrible atmosphere they serve alcohol to minors, terrible attitudes, and I’ve even seen a bartender walk out after throwing water on a person and throwing his card at him

We came in for dinner at 7pm. Only a five minute wait to be seated so off to a great start. Waitress came over after about 5 minutes to take our order which was perfect. However, that's where things headed down hill. Nearly 30 minutes go by before we even get our waters. The place had plenty of staff, wasn't overly busy. It ended up being over an hour wait on food, the waitress never checked on us, we had to flag her down. Two cheeseburgers and a grilled cheese kids meal was our order.
