after waiting 45 minutes in line I found out they had sold out of 8 flavors they had not taken off their wall or website, then their ad claiming to stuff your stanley, 40oz. was a lie, it didn't even fill the 40oz stanley half way. Will not be back

Serving sizes are very small. You buy the cup and yet do not give the portions. Service was pleasant but that’s definitely a big negative.

Good food and most of the time the service is good but sometimes rude people are working. And the atmosphere is a bit small and cramped but love the gluten free waffle cones that they make never have been glutened here!

Betty Rae's has long been on my list of places to try, and last night we finally made it to one. I was pumped to try it because of all the hype I had heard.
The store smelled terrible, like wet dog. One girl behind the counter was busy talking with the group of people in front of us. She took 1 of the 3 orders for our group and literally walked away to the back of the store.
The tables outside were filthy. I get it though, ice cream can be messy. But this looked like it had been sitting all day and it was now 8pm.
The creme brulee ice cream was so bitter I took 2 bites and threw it in the trash. The cereal milk flavor was nothing to write home about but was an ok palate cleanser after eating the creme brulee flavor.
This was our first experience at any Betty Rae location and based on this experience we will not be trying any others. There are plenty of other local ice cream stores that have faster service, better prices, and better tasting ice cream.

We went in Monday night and the person behind the counter did not welcome us, didn't offer any suggestions as we looked at the menu board and kinda seemed like we were bothering her. We ordered 2 Sundaes and she kinda sighed turned around without saying anything, looked in the back fridge and came back saying "we are out of whipped cream, you can have another topping, what did you want again?" We said never-ending and walked out. We went to Pop's in Old Town Lenexa and had a much better greeting.

I was most disappointed with the Olathe store. I purchased items with my family on the evening of Sept 6th. The milk shake I was given was practically all milk. When I showed the person who services me, she immediately got an attitude and said she put the right amount of ice cream (when you can see it was not). Not even an apology or can I make another one. I hope this was not because I’m an African-American. Definitely not pleased.
