I have been going to Lucky Star since they opened. My twin and I think the food is great and worth the price. My sister drives from Ottawa to come and get it.

The owner is EXTREMELY RUDE!! There are many reviews stating how rude she is and she still hasn't changed her awful attitude. 1 star!

Best lunch special value in the area and friendly.

Bad in every aspect! Soup was too watery, some fried chicken pieces were pink and undercooked, weird oil taste, swapped one of the items with some other combo, fish mixed when had ordered a chicken combo. 🤷‍♂️

I’m only given two stars because the lady at the front was nice. I ordered combination lo mein I received about three pieces of beef four pieces of shrimp and 10,000 pieces of chicken with 10,000 pounds in noodles. It was really greasy not seasoned at all. Fed the rest of it to my dog & trashed the noodles Not worth the $13

The crab Rangoon tasted like it had dawn dish soap in it. It was literally inedible. I threw out that and 90 percent of the other food I ordered. I've never left a review on something until now, so please avoid this place. I feel like I was just pranked for a you tube video it was so bad. Not kidding

I ordered Honey Chicken and fried wontons. My friend ordered chicken and vegetables. When my friend opened the chicken and vegetables she said it smelled bad. She took a bit thinking her smell was off and it tasted bad. She could not eat it. My honey chicken was not crispy but the fried wonton were. Way over done . I called and was told I can bring the food back for a refund.
When I got to the restaurant with my full bag of food. The owner had an attitude and told me never to order from there again. I was even trying to tell her that we ordered once before and it was good then. But with her making the excuse that the honey chicken wasn't crispy because I took it home and didn't eat in the restaurant and that there is no sauce on the honey chicken. That doesn't make sense if that was the case the won tons wouldn't be crispy. She had a horrible attitude and horrible customer service. I will never be back. There are way too many chineese restaurants to go to.

I've been going here for 3 years. Always the same Sachuan double delight. So much so they know who I am. Since remodel/brand change it has gone down hill. Just got the usual and I know the flavoring. When the lady is working it will be correct. When it's just the young man and he's cooking the recipe is not right. Hate to be low with the stars but consistency is key and why I go. I'm not even a fan of Chinese food except this one dish and one place. Please correct your cooks.

Late at night, half broken lightup menu, flickering storefront, sketchy parking lot next to a gym, all the checkmarks that this food is about to be amazing. It is. This the best American-Chinese food I have ever had in my life. They're fast, polite, casual, respectable, decent sized menu, reasonably priced, and the food is both absurdly delicious and has good portions. 10/10

Favorite Chinese spot in Olathe for years. Cashew chicken is always a good bet but the honey chicken is also great, sweet and crispy!

Love this place. Best grab Rangoon I've ever had. And the family that owns it are very nice. They have had a bit of bad luck lately so when they re open please pay them a visit.
