this was our second trip to Crazy Good Barbecue. My wife has a severe gluten allergy which is how we discovered the restaurant the first time around. we found all the food delicious and the sweet potato fries are the best we've had.. I think they're sprinkled with magic dust. When we knew we be traveling through overland Park this weekend, we made sure to visit Crazy Good and have some more of those amazing fries. On this occasion the cashier was new and not fully abreast of the allergy protocol, but after we explained the trouble, they were quick to make it right. i think they even threw in an extra rib or two. that's for a good experience. see you next time.

This is the 2nd time I’ve tried this local BBQ joint. I ordered full slab of ribs, chicken wings and a side of macaroni to go. Picked up at 1pm and food was ready to go and employee was very friendly.
The food was not good. Macaroni was for my wife she tried a bite gave it to me and it was just bad and went in the trash. As for ribs they were average at best and cold. Last the wings were the best part but that’s not saying much. (They also forgot the ranch for the wings and no BBQ sauce in to go bag)
Way to many BBQ joints in town to ever go back to this one.

Lone Star Power sandwich was amazing, smoked brisket with sausage and onion strings, it was smoky brisket was tender and the onion strings gave it some crunch. Mad meatballs, bacon wrapped meatballs covered in BBQ were a hit, they were tender and the BBQ sauce gave it a nice tang. They don't take reservations so if you come with a larger group of 10 or more, they didn't mind that we moved some chairs around. Definitely go back and try there smoked fried chicken they have on Sat nights.

Ehh, $25 seems expensive for this. I ordered this for pick up. I also got a side of the baked beans which were too sweet. Corn bread cold (came with my 2 option meat plate), brisket was decent, but the burnt ends were pretty good. I will probably try another spot before I come back here

Well I am impressed you have redeemed yourself. I am happy to change my review! We brought 2 of our sons and daughter in law in that now live in Washington DC. They really wanted to come get your food so we tried again and you guys were amazing and friendly and the food was amazing. Just what I had come to expect so last time must have been the exception! We will be back

Got burnt ends and they were cold and too charred.

Good atmosphere and friendly workers but the food was sadly disappointing. I got the brisket and it was cold and stiff as well as the cornbread. Might try again and get something different.

Wonderful bbq smoked chicken is so good def rec eating here plenty of food to choose from has a bar in it but mainly came at lunch and we'll worth it

We had the smoked crab cake special on Saturday 8/30.
By far the best crab cakes in the metro.
Also had the turkey and brisket.
Both were very tender and flavorful.

The food is Great! However, I personally dislike the Guilt tipping on the card reader. I walked up to cashier and paid debit card, the reader would NOT proceed unless I left a Tip. No waitress helped me, no person making less than min. wage, I served myself, but was asked to tip. The cashier reached around, Yelled NO TIP, and processed the card.

I purchased 2 slabs of the spareribs as well as a large baked beans. The ribs were so tender and delicious. Everything was amazing, I will be going back.
