Ordered Birthday donuts 3 days in advance only to show up the day of the event to no donuts, no apology and had to chase my refund with no follow-up from the owner. Get your donuts literally anywhere else because I also ordered sight unseen and the venue is filthy.

It seems like they have only a few styles of donuts or pastries that they just add different flavors or toppings to. For example, what they call a bear claw just looks like a glazed donut that is shaped like a bear claw instead of it being made of a different dough and having almond paste inside.

Daylight Donuts have been my donut for all 57 years of my life. They are not huge and tough. They are not overly covered in icing (you know who I am talking about, crispy kids). They are the perfect handheld, warm, not too sweet donut. Keep it up. I know you will. Thank you.

This Daylight at the gas station on 7 hwy is pretty weak compared to the other 2 in Olathe. Donuts seem older and the breakfast sandwiches are pre-made store bought. To fresh at all like other stores. Not sure why such a big difference.

We have loved Daylight for many years now. Love that they added hot items to the menu in Olathe and love that they spruced up the indoor sitting area. Unfortunately it seems the last several times we have been in on a weekday around 8:30-9:00 they are very low stock on donuts and always out of the hot items ☹️ that’s my only complaint! Not super reliable on their availability of items.

Today, I had a few Dash orders for Daylight Dounuts, and it was quite busy. Mary was a 1 woman show, she was taken drive thru orders, counter and online orders and as I waited and watched her, she treated every single customer with the upmost kindness, apologetic for the wait but never showing being overwhelmed. She kept it going like 2nd nature. Mary is a phenomenal exceptional woman, and I will become a regular customer because of her.

Letter donuts are an awesome way to celebrate a special occasion. Unfortunately, they go unfulfilled more than they get fulfilled. It’s been a birthday tradition for us for years. But the hurt and disappointment on birthday mornings are not worth it. We won’t back.
