Oh. Mygod...Okay, so, I'm not a self-proclaimed "foodie". But I DID spend the last 5 years cooking for 3-5 mouths beyond my own, and I AM in possession of a male ego, so you'd best believe I've read, studied, practiced, and experimented until that which I make at LEAST improved to "flatter-worthy". Maybe it's hubris, but I believe I have a good idea what I'm talking about.This. Place. Is. AWESOME.Do yourself a favor: try their Eggs Benedict, if you've ever had a well-made version of the dish before. I know precisely how hard it is to make a good Hollandaise. These guys have it DOWN.Moreover, the ability to poach an egg well is one of the most telling tests a world-class chef will employ to ascertain another chef's skills. Again. They're NAILING it.But all that can almost be (heh) backburnered. Why? Because it's served atop a bloody FABULOUS, HOUSEMADE English muffin!Anyone who's done a deep dive into baking will tell you: that's no mean feat. I can scratch make buttery, fluffy croissants. I can do an outstanding traditional cheesecake. I can make quick breads that will RUIN every sandwich you have thereafter on store bought bread. But ol' Thomas's claim to fame? Those are HARD.Harder still to make a FABULOUS one. And finding someone who can hand-make such a breakfast benediction, full-stack? That's like being handed hens' teeth. In a bag made of unicorn leather. By a fed-up leprechaun muttering, "screw it! Take the bloody charms! They're f-ing marshmallows! I'm over it! ...I wonder if Toucan Sam still has that beach house..." in short: uncommon. This is one of the top 5 places in Olathe, easy, and very probably top 5 in KC Metro (top 10 without question). They also do an absolutely amazing grilled PB&J, and have a cinnamon roll pancake dish that weighs enough to stun a yak and is potent enough to send Willy Wonka into a diabetic coma, flip a mean onmlrtEat. Here.

My husband and I tried again after not the best food on our last visit. This time our wait was an hour and a half to watch at least 2 tables get served before us that came in quite a while after us. I understand they only had 2 wait staff working and while we kept having our drinks refilled, the waitstaff was unapologetic. We did not stay past an hour and a half, their food is not worth that

Service was great. Sue was sweet and efficient. Food was delicious and great price. Decor was a little confusing. Looks like a chinese restaurant but has home cooking.i had the patty melt and husband has double cheeseburger. Hamburgers were juicy fries came out hot..

Adequate. Fast service, though the place was nearly empty so I don't know what it's like when busy. The BLT was good, like any other BLT, though the fries could use more salt and/or other seasonings. The table was a little sticky, something that I as a bus-boy would get in trouble for if I left it how it is, but this place isn't terrible! Might come again.

Went here for breakfast after seeing the 4.3 stars. Left wondering who in the world would give this place even two stars! Server was very friendly but alone, covering the entire restaurant. She repeatedly explained she was short-handed which, after going back through the bad reviews, seems to be a recurring theme. I’m NOT a picky eater, but I AM cheap so I usually fight the good fight and finish what is brought to me. I’m not sure what the “biscuits” in the biscuits and gravy were…but they weren’t good. Looked almost like packaged English Muffins, but nasty. My crisp bacon was good, but my wife’s “regular” was not. Her French toast was overloaded with cinnamon and inedible. Brought our two orders of B&G home to the dogs, so at least it wasn’t wasted. Just read the bad reviews before you decide to go. I experienced a little bit of what each one documents.

Would somebody please take these people to Chik Fil A just to observe how things should be done. We sat at the speaker where you order with no communication at all. My Heath Bar Blizzard had almost no Heath in it. The person who took our money was unable to communicate in English

Very busy for Father's day..we enjoyed our breakfast and they let us know that it was gonna be a few for our food to come out but they kept the coffee and waters full during the wait. Waffle was good. Eggs Benny was good but the sauce was slightly broken. Wife had a scramble and really enjoyed. My son enjoyed his eggs and bacon plate. Will stop again

I was very pleasantly surprised by this little gem. I went in for breakfast after visiting the post office (it's just around the corner and down a block off of Santa Fe). I like Eggs Benedict and was blown away by their variety of Eggs Benedict breakfasts. I chose the corned beef Eggs Benedict. When my plate arrived I about fell out of my chair, two giant Eggs Benedict and hash browns. It was DELICIOUS! One Of them and the hash browns totally filled me up! I ate the 2nd one before work the next morning. I am planning on visiting tomorrow morning. This time, Crab Cake Eggs Benedict.

Oh. My. Word! The Peanut Butter and Jelly Stuffed French Toast was a party for my tastebuds and elevated that favorite lunch of my childhood. Honestly, I hadn’t had many PB&Js since I was a kid because I had had so many in my lunch box, but PB&J can come to stay for breakfast! The Train Wreck, Haystack, and Biscuits and Gravy are all stars in my opinion as well! Everyone I have talked to who knows this place raves about it, too!

Their menu is intriguing. They've put an interesting spin on diner breakfast fare. My Irish Omelette had lots of corned beef, cheese, and onions, and cooked up just right. The home fries are potato chunks, lightly seasoned, and delicious. The prices are fair, and they kept our coffee cups filled up.I reserved one star because although the place wasn't even at half capacity at 8:30am Sunday, our food took nearly 30 minutes to arrive at our table, and my husband's food was not hot- at all. There is a temporary sign on the door stating they closed early on Saturday because they were short handed. With the server's apology for our wait came the info that they were short handed this Sunday morning.Their pie selection included chocolate peanut butter, chocolate silk, butterscotch, cherry, & apple!Even with the wait, that menu, of which I also posted photos, entices me to plan return trips, soon. I want to try the tomato cream cheese omelette, and the hangover plate, and the crab cake benedict....!

Horrible service. Came 20 minutes after my food should have been ready and no one would allow me to speak to a manager to simply cancel my order and get a refund. Used to love this establishment but will NEVER come back.

We just ate here for the first time, and let me tell you this hidden gem is the best place for breakfast in Olathe. We plan on becoming regulars. Will return to try out the lunch and dinner menus but I've never seen a more comprehensive and creative breakfast menu. Service was top notch too. Best omelet I've ever had. Check them out, you won't be sorry!

I've been there a handful of times, but I've never left unsatisfied and it's generally pretty well affordable especially within 2021 price ranges at least. The only thing I havent tried were the pies, but if I had to guess they'd be pretty good.
