Food is always great but the service was not great today. The lady behind the counter was being extremely rude to one of her coworkers who was just trying to help. They were very slow on making my sandwich as well.

The food is absolutely delicious and we love all the firehouse decor and the cause. The problem is that it took over 30 minutes to get 3 sandwiches the last (and only) two times that we went. The workers were pleasant and working steadily but it was so frustrating to wait so long for sub sandwiches especially when it wasn't busy at all.
As a rule, when out of town(Topeka), I only eat at places we don't have home. Firehouse is always a go to when going to Trader Joes. Lots of variety on subs, Engineer is my Fav.Wheelchair accessibility: Easy to get around in it.

My girlfriend and I went here for lunch. She had never been to a Firehouse Subs. We decided to share one medium Engine Sub. When I picked up the order at the counter, the worker had cut the sub in half and put each half on a separate tray. Amazing customer service! The sub was really good with just the right amount of condiments to add some flavor while not overpowering the rest of the sandwich.

I am not sure what happened to this location but the people who work here are not friendly, the food is awful, it's dirty, etc. There isn't enough space here to cover what is wrong with this location. I will not be eating here again after I got food poisoning last night.
My sandwich was served on cold bread that wasn't toasted and I had gristle in my meat!

Be prepared to be greeted as you come in the door. The subs are made to order with fresh ingredients. I prefer their wheat bread over white bread because I think it is softer. My favorite is club on a sub. This location is always clean and the staff are always friendly.

I got a meatball sub.. sauce old and dehydrated. meat balls over cook and probably old.. the worst firehouse sub I’ve ever had. I would put it at a -5 when. Normally all the other ones I ate at were solid 4/5 stars.. from all over the country. If I knew how to post a pic I would.. I won’t be back to this one.. next time I’ll just drive a little farther .. sadly I still want good firehouse because this wasn’t even as good as subway which I don’t like at allBut the staff were friendly and fast . Everything was clean . My guess is management is pinching pennies and serving old food.First time I ever wished I hadn’t gone to firehouse sub.. majorly disappointed

The food is always delicious. 1/31/2024 update.... Firehouse now has garlic bread. This addition makes it even better. Don't miss out on this.
