Hokulia Shave Ice Olathe-KS

I love how I can get a legit, good snowcone whenever I come home and visit my family in KC. Believe it or not, these don't exist in Chicago and I totally crave them all the time. Snowcone was fantastic. It was like snow, and not the chunky , gravel like snowcones you would get elsewhere. Glad I can get this type of stuff in KC.

I haven’t been back to this place for four years and now I remember why. Spent 20.00 on 2-16oz shakes. Over priced is an understatement. I should’ve just drove across town and got Andy’s.

This is some of the best shaved ice I’ve ever had!!! The service is amazing and the staff is friendly and helpful. I’m new to the area and I just happened to find the place while I was driving. It was so good I brought my kids back the next day. We had ice cream, shaved ice and a boba lemonade. Everything was exceptional!

They accidentally gave me the wrong flavor and corrected it quickly. I offered to pay for another one because my son kept the one that was not correct. She would not take my money! I just put it in the tip jar 😁 I believe I spoke with the owner and she was so nice. She told me she remembered me from the day before and gave me the nicest compliment. Love this place and will definitely be back!!!

Found this place when looking for a snow cone for gson. Semi busy on a hot Sunday. Teen girls working behind the counter. They displayed a well-oiled assembly line of service. Tables were cleaned after each use. Shaved ice product was excellent with flavorful syrups instead of typical watered down syrups at a typical snow cone place.
They also sell ice cream, so I want to go back and try that.

An adorable shaved ice place with tons of flavors! Hokulia offers milkshakes, ice cream, boba tea, boba lemonade, and of course - shaved ice. The shaved ice is delicious! Everyone there was friendly even though they were very busy! The place was clean and the decor is really cute! The bathrooms are very nice. Another plus is that this shaved ice place has a drive thru. The prices and sizes are also great! I would definitely recommend this place and hope to return soon!

Overpriced for sure. I really wanted to like this place but it was just not it. $14 for two medium cups of shaved iced with a cheap amount of syrup and charged extra for a sprinkle of coconut shavings. The flavoring was decent at best and when handed the cups, I had to wipe down each one even though the worker clearly saw how messy the cups were not to mention, the lids weren’t placed on correctly which made a whole other mess. Another visit? No thank you.

This is a really neat ice cream and shave ice shop. And the Guava Cake Ice cream was one of the best Ice cream I have ever had if not the best!!!
