Jose Pepper's probably has the best salsa in the area. It's what keeps me coming back (my addiction to their salsa is real). I order the same thing every time - tequila lime chicken (not on their menu) and have never been disappointed. I can't really speak to anything else on their menu, but I did order cheese enchiladas with queso, once. It came with very little cheese and beyond a normal amount of onions. I never ordered that again and have been happy with my tequila lime chicken instead. Their margaritas are hit or miss, but I'm a water drinker so take that as you will. This location is my go-to for when I don't know what to do for dinner and don't want fast food.

Walked though the carry out door to place my order. There was a server carrying a tray and loudly telling another server how bad they are. The server than told me to go to the bar to place my order. The server at the bar was rude and very short with me.

Our waitress was friendly and fast. We came specifically for the fried ice cream…. Mmm mmm good 😍. Best fried ice cream!!!

WARNING!! DO NOT EAT HERE!! I went to the location on Blackbob Rd. and found a BUG in my chicken taco and they couldn’t have cared less. The manager wrote it off as scrapings from the bottom of the pan, but that’s just simply not true. It’s very clearly a bug!!

I had a very odd and honestly uncomfortable experience today. I don’t think I’ve ever come across a more condescending person as my server was. First off, I was wearing a mental health awareness T-shirt that is quite common and sold in a lot of places and the first thing he said in a very snarky way “well that’s an interesting shirt” his tone took me off guard and I just said “thanks” I have very short hair by choice and didn’t wear makeup today and he kept referring to me as “bro” again in that snide kind of way. I really didn’t like it And after a few times, I’m not sure if he could tell I didn’t like it or what because then he switched over to “Madam” The whole experience was just very odd and felt unwelcoming, And ended with a “God bless you” As we were leaving. Not to mention The food was not fresh and the rice was crunchy, but after feeling so uncomfortable, I didn’t want to say anything and just left

Our waitress was outgoing and very helpful. We were a table of 8 and got our food and drinks very quickly. The food was excellent! Will definitely be back, next time I'm in town!
