Reminds me of a hunting lodge style restaurant I loved back home in the woods of Western Pennsylvania. The sides of hush puppies, white beans and coleslaw were great. The main course of Cajun style catfish was delicious and done to perfection, moist and flaky.

The fish is way overcooked and only flavor it has is the over breaded batter. I fish and catch catfish all the time, and grew up on it. This is the worst I’ve ever eaten. Hush puppies are nothing more than cornbread balls

First time eating there and it was fabulous. Everything was good from the catfish, crab legs & shrimp to the starters, ham and beans, hushpuppies, etc. Can't wait to go back

You can't beat the food, service and prices!!!! I love how they bring you beans, cole slaw, and hush puppies when you first get there. We had their catfish and quail. Excellent. Our waiter was very attentive to our needs. Definitely will go back

My daughter took me to jumping catfish in Olathe for my birthday day last night and the waitress came up and the other waitress said I don’t tip I’ve only been there three times & none of the waitresses know me & I have always tipped that was so embarrassing I told my daughter that the tip for the waitress just went out the door my daughter paid for it for my birthday day I told her not to tip but she did anyway I didn’t know I was required to tip although I was anyway until then I will never go back to jumping catfish in Olathe ever again the waitress name was Regina

This is a must do, place to eat! We hadn't been in a long time, but after having Lindsay as our server...this will definitely be back in rotation while in KC.
