Previous experiences at Casa Amigos had made it our favorite Mexican restaurant. Usually the wait staff are top notch, chips and salsa are the best! And usually get fajitas, enchilada & tamale, chicken enchilada, or flautas. However yesterday was a very poor experience with the exception of the chips & salsa still were excellent. The tamale was somewhere between strange to no flavor., the flautas were so burned the ashes of what possibly had previously been meat(couldn’t tell if it had been chicken or beef) poured out of the over done tortilla shell as powder. When I asked the waiter if I could please order an enchilada, my husband told him why and instead of acknowledging and apologizing and getting me an edible plate of food made the excuse that this is the way they are supposed to be because they cook at 400 degrees. Huh? I have eaten flautas there for years and usually delicious and could tell if chicken or beef. But he did bring me an enchilada that was off a bit in flavor. The waiter took 1/2 off for the flautas on our bill before we left. Aside from the odd explanation the waiter seemed to be pleasant and helpful.

This is my go to for Mexican food. Jose has spent a lot of time on decorations which adds to the atmosphere, and the staff is friendly and attentive, as well as serving delicious food!

They are thieves. My bill was $12.59. I left a $3.00 tip. Total was 15.59. My bank statement shows that I was charged 17.59....... I hope you enjoy your extra 2.00 dollars. That will be the last of any money you get from me. How can you be that dishonest. I know it's only 2 dollars but you stole from me......How many other people have you stolen from????
