Wow, what a gem of a find! They were decked out for the holidays which I ALWAYS appreciate. I don't even care what holiday, just the extra atmosphere and spirit adds so much to the experience. The man who seated and served us was so friendly and checked on us at the perfect times.
The food was incredible. A twist on seafood that I've never had but was done so well. We had the chips and queso, birria ramen, carnitas tacos, unsweetened tea (no sweet), and a Senorita (adult beverage). Everything was delicious and a very fair price. We will definitely be back to try the crab boil!

Mariscos KC in Olathe is a fun, vibrant spot with excellent service and a lively atmosphere that made for an overall great experience. The staff was attentive, friendly, and on top of everything from the moment we sat down to the time we left, which really elevated the visit.The food overall lands at about 4 out of 5 stars. I ordered the cucaracha shrimp, and while the portion was generous and the dish was nicely presented, it didn’t resemble traditional cucaracha shrimp in flavor or appearance—they were saucy rather than the crispy, shell‑on style I expected. The rest of the table’s dishes were solid and enjoyable, but nothing that completely blew us away.Where Mariscos KC really shines is in its atmosphere. The space is colorful and welcoming, with a festive, coastal feel that makes it easy to relax and enjoy your meal. Between the great service and the fun vibe, it’s still a place worth visiting, especially if you value hospitality and ambiance as much as the food.

Wife has been hyping this spot up and I finally caved in and took the family. I had the burrio Ramen....UHHMAZING!! it suited the cold weather outside, don't let the jalapeño make you think it's spicy because it is not. The wife got the crab boil and that was very tasty. The crab was not fishy, the cajjun sauce they covered the boil with was so so good! The queso dip was a no go for me, compared to the rest of the food the queso dip was a disappointment but that didn't bother me because the rest of our food was superb. We will be back

I would say good service, flavor of food & atmosphere. But I could say CHIPS & SALSA for a starter is a MUST. Food is priced decently price. There should be no reason why chips & salsa are not included.

My husband and I came in to the Olathe location to celebrate my birthday. The food was plentiful and so flavorful. The waitress was great too. We have a new favorite!!

Pleasant little restaurant, the serve great drinks, and they have a decent variety of sea food items, the place is clean and the staff is super kind. I wish they had a combo with Camarones a la diabla they have something similar, the Cucaracha, still it was good and it was properly cooked but the diablo flavor was missing. We would be back though.

I’ve seen the viral TikTok, the amazing drink menu and LOVE seafood boils so my husband and I made a date night out of trying this place out. He loved his food and the drinks were pretty good, however the crab was imitation. I LOVE crab, real crab. So this was a huge disappointment. For a seafood place to serve imitation, our ticket shouldn’t have been over $120 :/ If they ever did decide to use real, I’d give them another try, but until then; hook and reel is where we’ll go for our boils.
