Oh my gosh this was GOOD. They were very nice, and let us sample several unusual ice cream flavors. We went with the mangonada and a chocolate dipped caramel popsicle. Both were unbelievable.

It is a fun restaurant/ice cream parlor. Very friendly staff. They gave us lots of samples. The food was delicious. My only complaint would be they put too much ice cream in my granddaughters' cups. Lol. And the spoons were a little flimsy.

Went in on a cold day, and got the Esquite and some Queso Helado. This was probably some of the best esquite I've had since moving here. I've had some from places where you eat the top part and are just left with hot corn and accompanied water. Not this place. It's tasty all the way through, till you finish every drop. The ice cream is a different story. Queso helado is my favorite flavor and it's super hard to find. So when I have the opportunity I dive in. This ice cream 1. Is on the side where you can tell it was more artificially sweetened or to taste, and 2. Didn't have the actual cheese pieces which make the queso helado what it is. Still: the flavoring and sweetener wasn't overpowering, I still was able to enjoy and finish it. Just wasn't what I was looking for. My search in the Kansas City area will continue for that, but if I'm in the area and want some bomb esquite I now know where to go!(In picture elote is gone because it was that delicious, I couldn't help it)

So, I've been on a birria quest as of late. Saturday found me and my Dr. Watson at Street Tacos off of S. Claiborne in Olathe. I can safely say there's a new #1 on the list. The service was great. The food was insanely good. The price was also spot on.
