This Sonic has improved drastically in terms of customer service and the quality of food and drinks. I had given up on this Sonic a long time ago but I started seeing cars there again. I decided to give it another go and was pleasantly surprised. Now I have been a handful of times and everything has been great aside from not getting my sauces I asked for! I will keep coming by.

The food is not really hot when you get it from the drive through, that's a bummer. The employees are mostly nice, but they rarely get the order right at this location, and that's frustrating. A lot of teenagers work here and they're more interested in socializing than working. Since it's not a digital screen at the speaker, they need to do a better job clarifying the order by reading it back and confirming. Prices are so high right now -I want to receive everything I paid for in my order.

Terrible service and extremely questionable sanitary food handling practices. The heavy set guy with the glasses is rude and this is the third time I’ve seen him making people’s orders with no gloves on. Insult to injury this is also the third time I’ve ordered a turtle blizzard and he just fills the cup with vanilla ice cream and puts ingredients only as a topping. Never returning to this nasty location again.

Ordered food through door dash. It was reassigned twice and once food was delivered it was obvious it was left under a heating lamp. Cheese was burnt , bread was burnt , fries were cold and Hard and when I called the store to discuss , I was hung up on TWICE. Unacceptable.

For me, they're various expectations for various places. The cheap fast food chains can still get a 5 based on what they do and whether they do it well. Where as a higher end restaurant to me has a different scale. Sonic was doing buy one get one free foot long chili cheese coneys. They do it very well. It's a great flavor, it's exactly what we want and the price was right. It was hot and fresh and the service was good.

We placed an order online, get there and we waited 10 minutes past when the order was supposed to be ready. My mom asked why it took so long, your rude employee Duyen proceeds with a bad attitude says we are busy, there's nothing we can do about it and walked away. You have lost any future business from our family and I will let all my friends in this area know to not go here. You might want to teach her a thing or 2 about customer service or get rid of her... She's bad for business.

Sonic is an industry standard staple in my opinion. Especially when it comes to beverages and variety of refreshment options. Jalapeño poppers & mozzarella sticks are delicious sides. (Just my opinion) Coneys are decent as well as chicken strips baskets.
Parking: Wraps around the building and I'd say there is around 25 parking stalls if not more.
The staff is great, but it seems like they pre-cook their items instead of cooking them to order. I know it saves them a few minutes by having some mozzarella sticks premade, but soggy and squishy fried food is gross. I would recommend going back to cooking to order rather than trying to get ahead. I know I and my family/friends would rather wait an extra ten minutes for a fresh order than get old food sent out in three to five minutes.
Not sure how a drive in restaurant can get 4* in atmosphere, but I gave it.

I ordered an oreo chocolate shake, and I had to wait a good 10-15 minutes for them to let me order even though there were maybe 4 other cars in the lot. And then when I *did* receive my "oreo chocolate" shake, it was literally just a cup of vanilla soft serve that was so thick I couldn't drink it, and maybe half an inch of chocolate on top.

This might be the worst ran fast food place in Kansas City. The service is horrendous. Not a single person I’ve crossed paths here can even pretend like they care/like their job. Always short staffed. They close early or cut off the lights to look like they are closed. Food order is always wrong. Long wait times even when no one is there. And don’t dare try to eat on the patio, it’s disgusting. I’ve tried to call and ask for the MGR twice and both times got hung up on. I only try this location every once in a while because it’s 2 minutes from my house. 0 stars.
