This might be the worst ran fast food place in Kansas City. The service is horrendous. Not a single person I’ve crossed paths here can even pretend like they care/like their job. Always short staffed. They close early or cut off the lights to look like they are closed. Food order is always wrong. Long wait times even when no one is there. And don’t dare try to eat on the patio, it’s disgusting. I’ve tried to call and ask for the MGR twice and both times got hung up on. I only try this location every once in a while because it’s 2 minutes from my house. 0 stars.

I used to be a carhop, then a manager at Sonic for over 2 years. Not sure what happened to get each and every item in my order wrong. I asked for a medium chili cheese fry, got a small. I asked for a small popcorn chicken with barbecue sauce, didn’t get my sauce. I got ketchup packets. I asked for a medium blue raspberry lemonade, and got a blue raspberry lime juice water—insanely sour. I want to add that I was charged for what I asked for, just not given a single correct item. I don’t know what is happening here, but it’s a major disappointment. I’ve stayed loyal to sonic for years, but I will no longer be visiting this location, though it was the very first location I worked at.

Update 3/12/24. I don't know why I keep trying to give this place another shot. Just ordered the featured pulled pork cheeseburger and they were so confused not even realizing it's on their menu. Needless to say I didn't get what I ordered. These people don't deserve more than minimum wage!Old review. My malts we're good but it took about 15 minutes to get them. I saw one other customer leave without their order because it was taking so long.

Wow! When I got my drink this morning in the drive thru, the worker walked it outside to me while I was waiting behind a big food order so I wouldn't have to wait. In single degree temps! Great service!

Dirty, overflowing trash cans, extremely slow to answer and deliver food and food barely warm. No lime or cherry in my limeade. Won’t be back to this location. This isn’t the first time I’ve had these issues.

They do the best they can; usually being slammed with cars wrapped around the building if your unlucky enough to go at lunch or 5pm hour.They are always nice to us whenever we have gone; and we go a few times a week-they are always very polite and when not packed; takes them an average if not slightly quickly, your order out to you.Always asks if we need anything else, etc etc.The fact that they’re always polite, even if I’m not the one paying (otherwise I would leave a tip, at least the coins), but some choose not to do that—they still don’t get mad, or are ever unprofessional.I just wish they opened early or late as their Apple Maps phone number shows that they’re open.4/5Parking: Huge pothole at 151 & 135th Sonic; almost takes my front end off anytime I go in there and do not swerve to miss it.You’ve been warned!Kid-friendliness: Lots of kids options.I used to love going to Sonic as a kid in the 90’s because they had so much different things, like as in, “a-la-carte”, and all the cool drink mixing s; they haven’t changed a lot and my kids love it.

This is the worst sonic. Every time I have used the app I have to wait longer than other people at the restaurant and they have a horrible habit of hitting the button to show they are on the way bit I still end up waiting at least 7 minutes or more after that for my order. Ridiculous. Nothing but young boys in the store usually messing around not working. Beat bet go down the street to other sonic they are much better.
