In Latin America, coffee farms are often run by families, with their own homes on the same land where their coffee grows. We've sipped coffee with these farmers for decades, sitting on their verandas, overlooking the lush beauty of the coffee trees rolling out in the distance. Most times it was a lightly roasted coffee like this one. It took us more than 80 tries to get it right-mellow and flavorful with a nice softness.

So, I’m not usually a “let me write a review” kind of person, but I felt like I needed to for this one. I’m rarely on this side of town and had never been to this Starbucks before, but the customer service was truly next level. From the moment I walked in to when I received my order and even while I worked there for a couple of hours, the team made me feel like a regular. You can tell they genuinely care about people.

First: I do not drink coffee, so this is from the perspective of a non-coffee drinker. On the weekends this can be one busy place, but they have plenty of staff to take care of all their customers. You are greeted warmly as you walk in and there’s enough of a selection for non-coffee drinkers to hang out with your coffee, drinking friends. My go to location! Everyone has been super friendly and drinks are always on point. I usually don’t like the whole forced writing in cup thing, generally feels like a rushed thing with no thought that adds an extra step for already busy partners…but I will say they made my day with it today! I ordered under “Gandalf the Flat White” and got a “You shall not pass!” on the cup which is a first for someone paying along with the name. Little thing, but had a big impact...
