I'm so glad this place has been able to stay open during Covid. Great spot to go if you're looking for great service, really good drinks and a different food menu. If you're looking for something different and not the normal bar scene, give this place a try.

Sad. We made reservations and were not even welcomed. I know things are a little different with COVID but still customer service should still happen. Revenue lost tonight. If you are not open to the public then the reservation should never have been allowed and we should have been politely told when we arrived. Still bad business.

We stayed at the Embassy for a girls weekend and had dinner last night on the rooftop bar. There is a nice view & a very relaxed vibe. Our server was outstanding! I had the Blueberry Lemonade Mojito & it was the perfect summer drink. Ordered the Brisket Sandwich at the server’s suggestion and was not disappointed.

I was served raw shrimp when ordering a shrimp po boy. I had ate the entire sandwich and got to last bite and the raw shrimp fell out. Reported food poisoning to health department How a chef can serve raw shrimp without noticing is beyond me. Stay away.

My wife and I invited a couple of friends to meet us for dinner. Cloe was our waitress and was so wonderful. We had dietary restrictions that she was happy to help make sure were met. Most places seem annoyed with them but she always helped us with a smile. I had the salmon and my wife had the harvest chicken salad. So yummy. Best service we’ve had living in Kansas City hands down. Can’t wait to come back and try everything else
Food was ok. Drinks were good and I would have had more but the service was very slow. Took over an hour for the two of us to get food and 45 min to get a second drink. It’s an Embassy Suites hotel bar and Restaurant with a fancy name. Won’t be back.

Made a reservation for Valentines Day. 15 min. Before waiter showed up and had to ask for wine list and specials menu. Finally got wine that was ordered. Tables seated around us were served very quickly. Waiter finally checks on order and says meals were delivered to wrong table and it would be another half hour to get our order. We said no thanks and left. Will not return.

I attend a customer's annual conference at the Embassy Suites Hotel. When the meetings are over we all pack ourselves into the J bar. All of the staff in the J Bar are great, but Becca really stands out. She is a very efficient bartender and is extremely friendly and courteous; even when faced with 50+ business people all trying to order a drink at once. Great job Becca! We look forward to seeing you again next year.
