Service was terrible there. Service took a long time to get order taken. Then, we thought we would never get our ticket to pay for dinner. On top of that, 3 separate parties at the same table. They charged all parties a 20% gratuity automatically. BS....

This place deserves way more recognition. If you’re in Olathe and not hitting Viva Tacos, you’re missing out. Solid food, great people, and a taste that’ll keep you coming back.

The atmosphere and the decor was amazing. Very clean and inviting. Overall the server was just there and didn't show any kind of interest in anything other than when her shift would be over. The food was ok but not amazing. I found the chips and salsa decent but not much to remember. The spicy salsa was somewhat spicy but didn't taste all the great. For a lunch option it was too expensive for what I received. For a 2 person lunch the total was a little over $30. Not sure I want to risk that much money on a return visit.

So nasty, no gloves were changed and someone wiped their nose while cooking.

Had the carne asada and chicken,with a corn on the cob,presentation was excellent and beautiful to look at,atmosphere was pretty chill and with some good mexican vibes

It is a fun place and people get excited about how things are presented which is awesome!! The cocktails were amazing and everyone was raving about them!! I was with a bigger party and everyone’s food came out except mine. I tried to track down our server and that took a while. When I did get her attention she said “oh your tacos” and brought them out immediately with no apology and my food was cold (about 30 min after everybody’s meal was delivered). Everyone was already done with their meal so I asked for a to go box. As someone who has been in the restaurant industry, all I wanted was an apology. I know tipping policy for big tables is a thing, but I wish I wasn’t forced to tip 20% when I didn’t even get my food with the rest of the party and had to ask for it. My drink was great, but based on service, will likely not return.

Edit: the restaurant responded but I’m not interested in coming back. Had I not asked for the food that I ordered, pretty sure I would have still been charged for it.

The food is delicious! The kitchen messed up one order and we were confused by all the different copies of the bill. I'd definitely try it again.

First time at this location. Food was great, service tonight was awful. Our server apologized for taking 20 minutes to take our order and then our food took an hour to come out! He never entered my side dish so that never came out. Drinks were always low or empty. We had to ask for napkins 4 times because every time he would give us LITERALLY one napkin. Can’t help but feel it was a waste of $80.
