I have been eating at this restaurant since I was a kid and the food is always amazing however the service is always terrible, I went with my family to Olpe Chicken House and not only did the people that got there much later then us received there food before we had even had our drink order placed, our party’s were also the exact same number I also had the displeasure of having to search for our wateriest in order to get our ticket to pay, I am deeply disappointed that this restaurants staff has dragged down my review this much I would not recommend dining in to anyone

Our waitress “did not know we were her table.” We waited 45 minutes for anyone to take our order after getting our drinks. While ordering our drinks, we asked for root beer, which was on the menu, and was told “I didn’t know we had root beer.” After this, 2 of our 5 plates were not what we ordered. We do not feel as though the waitress took accountability for the errors. After the poor service, the food did not live up to standards, and there was no offer of compensation or even an offer of dessert on the house. The waitress even verbally asked for a tip. It was our first visit, and we had very much been looking forward to dining here. We will not be back, and I truly hope this is not their norm. It was a very poor experience.

Listing it as one of the Top Restaurants in the Nation. I'm not biased it's true what I typed back a bit. It'll have you coming back for more. They have a very lg. Ribeye for a VERY reasonable price. Delicious also!!

The chicken is really great... But if you are looking for a change up, I can't say enough good things about their chicken fried steak! If you're not hungry enough for an entire meal their hamburger is outstanding! If your extra hungry and looking for supplement to your dinner I highly recommend the fried okra. And take a tip from me, be sure to order green beans they are the best green beans I've ever eaten anywhere.

Nothing bad here, chicken livers/gizzards are delicious ? and Catfish is one of many faves. Fried chicken ? ? also a fave. Hashbrown potatoes ? are like fried w gravy or w/o. Salads ? too. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
