El Mezcal is a good American/Mexican restaurant in Ottawa, Kansas. The salsa was tomato tasting, but the cheese dip and entrees were good. They offer fairly priced pitchers of beer, despite a small draft selection. With a huge menu, the recommended dish is the elite. The atmosphere is nice and quiet, with great food and service, although the initial seating experience was lacking.
