The first time we had their food was at an event sponsored by our HOA. The food was served out of the Alazanes food truck, the tacos and margarita where fantastic. This most recent visit was for takeout, and the tacos and other items lived up to our first memories. I recommend Alazanes.

For starters the heavy set hostes had on a cut off shirt highly inappropriate taco shells to hard taco salad was good but small and they're pricey 12.50 for 3 tacos ànd beans and rice yikes! $4 for 12 oz beer. Jus sayin..

I made the order for asada tacos. Low quality on meat, tortillas, beans, rice... Overall, do I would come back? I don't think so

Used a Groupon Voucher to try first time. Extremely Tasteless food. First they gave us wrong order. Salsa was warmed up . Never seen Mexican serving warmed up salsa. Nothing was tasty. All tasted raw. They charged $10 extra on card without our knowledge. We reported fraud. They thought we may not notice, but we check our statements everyday. Do check your bill and statements if you prefer to go there still.

4 stars lol! NO! I did Groupon and still I am let down. Chef you need to season! Cheese sauce literally like no flavor and watered down. 2 customers me one other person. Just close it.

Purchased a Groupon and called in order. Ended up waiting for over an hour for the food.My daughter and her boyfriend were coming over to watch This Is Us...so I wanted to order something "special."The food was not good. The Alazanes cheese dip description sounds AMAZING on the website and it was like warm processed cheese.Sorry this was a major disappointment.I gave two starts because the guy who greeted me was friendly.

It is authentic Mexican cuisine. The chicken Fajitas were good and dishes weren't covered with cheese. Margaritas were good too.

Google says they are closed on Monday but they were open. Service was good, margs were incredible, but the food was not fantastic. The queso tasted like dressed up velveeta. I'd come back just for the margs, but not the food.
We visited Alazanes as part of a Groupon promotion - and had one of the best Mexican dishes in KC.

It would be nice if just once they didn't short us on our order. Tonight was the 3rd straight time Alazanes did not fulfill the order correctly. We work hard to support local restaurants during the pandemic by ordering delivery. Unfortunately Alazanes will have to wait until we feel comfortable going out to restaurants not high on our list (when we do venture out during COVID it has to be special) their food isn't that good that they deserve a 4th chance. The food is average to begin with so no need to go further.
