I failed to post about this the other day. AR’s Breakfast & Brunch is one of the best places for breakfast in town. For those that know me their food is similar to my restaurants in Nashville. They just know me as “the Sysco guy”. I’ll take that! I got the breakfast tacos, but they made them my way with chorizo and jalapeños. It isn’t on the menu that way but it was awesome. Buen provecho!
First time here and enjoyed very much. Delicious food. Generous portion sizes. Highly recommend.

Great spot for brunch. Tried something new vs where we usually go. Mimosas and spicy bloody Marys are a must try. They were able to accommodate my wife's special request for her iced milk coffee. Many specialty entrees and classics to choose from. Great atmosphere with indoor or outdoor seating. Staff was friendly and attentive. This is important. Will try again at some point.

Standing there being ignored by 3 people at the bar while the host who was doing nothing directed me to said bar with an attitude was all I needed to know. Left, didn’t, order, never coming back. Even just a friendly smile would have kept me waiting happily.
Exceeds expectations.

My mom and I were looking for a spot close by to have a cup of coffee before our nail appointment. When I realized we’d arrived an hour early to our appointment and I saw that this place (just 2 doors down from our nail spot) was open and served coffee. I hadn’t even looked at the actual menu yet, just saw coffee and how close and said okay let’s go.
We were immediately greeted and seated, it wasn’t very busy but definitely started to pick up as we sat and ordered.
An immediate coffee was ordered and as we waited and glanced at the menu, we were immediately intrigued and excited. Some of our absolute favorite dishes ( chorizo con papas and Chilaquiles w/ red sauce) were listed and we knew we had to have both and share!
And definitely are some shareable sizes! Unless you’re starving, then go at it.
The food was absolutely delicious full of flavor and memories. These were dishes I had growing up that mom herself makes for me.
And for it to be able to take me back to when I was kid, says wonders.
The staff are friendly and welcoming. Our girl was bilingual which we loved!
Highly recommend visiting.

Located in Downtown Overland Park on Metcalf & 80th Street.
Dined in for brunch. Bigger inside than expected. Patio seating.
Ordered breakfast bowl and it was huge!! Very delicious, fresh with a Mexican twist. I was able to get 3 meals out of my bowl.
Treated myself to sunrise in Mexico. Wasn’t too strong, not weak. $10
Kid friendly.
Parking is limited. Congested area so you may have to park across street, around block, or if you’re lucky you’ll find open one of the few parking spots reserved for restaurant in the parking lot.
I’d go back but it’s not a place that comes first to mind.
The staff is very friendly and has great recommendations with menu and liquor menu.
Wheelchair accessibility: Longs you get close parking otherwise a Saturday morning while OP farmers market is open may have you teach your goal I your steps.

Food was excellent at a decent price. Service was a bit slow but not so much to be aggravating. Inside the restaurant, however, was cold and loud. The music playing was definitely for Gen Z and younger Millennials.
Overall pretty decent experience.
