The service overall was attentive and great, but the process of getting our bills paid was inefficient. One person was clearing our plates from the table and collecting our credit cards all at once. I acknowledge that six credit cards were collected to pay six different bills (so that takes time), but the amount of time it took to process the cards seemed even longer than usual when I go out to lunch somewhere with this same group and the same number of separate bills.
Generally, this wouldn't be an issue, but I went with my coworkers in the middle of a workday and I needed to get back to my office, so time was a bit more precious.
We were looking for a brunch place and just happened upon this place. High quality food, good service and fantastic atmosphere! Would come here if you are a brunch nut!
My husband and I were driving through KC around lunchtime and we were craving breakfast food - AR’s was a perfect choice! I had the Zepeda Special which was essentially a chilaquiles with half red and half green sauce. The chips were the perfect combination of crisp and moistened with yummy sauce. The green had a bit more heat than the red sauce and my over medium eggs were cooked perfectly. My husband had the horchata waffles with a side of scrambled eggs and he cleaned his plate. Would love to come back next time we are in KC!
What a great find! The service was warm and welcoming, and the food was full of flavor. The bacon was cooked to perfection—crispy without being burnt or soggy (though I don’t mind a little char!). The coffee was excellent, and the menu is impressively diverse.
The pancakes were delicious, and some of the options looked amazing—churro pancakes, anyone? I didn’t try them this time, but I’m definitely coming back for those.
We visited on a Friday morning and it wasn’t busy, but I can imagine this place gets packed on weekends and holidays—something to keep in mind!
One of our favorite breakfast place.
Phenomenal food and really big portions!! You have to try this place at least once!!
Great service and food! Huge breakfast bowls and eggs cooked correctly to order. Delicious!
Definitely a bad experience. The manager didn't want to make shelled scrambled eggs with my order. She insisted I eat the pre cracked eggs from a box that they pour into the pan. Going back and forward until I left like I'm not a paying customer. New management needed ASAP
I failed to post about this the other day. AR’s Breakfast & Brunch is one of the best places for breakfast in town. For those that know me their food is similar to my restaurants in Nashville. They just know me as “the Sysco guy”. I’ll take that! I got the breakfast tacos, but they made them my way with chorizo and jalapeños. It isn’t on the menu that way but it was awesome. Buen provecho!
First time here and enjoyed very much. Delicious food. Generous portion sizes. Highly recommend.

Great spot for brunch. Tried something new vs where we usually go. Mimosas and spicy bloody Marys are a must try. They were able to accommodate my wife's special request for her iced milk coffee. Many specialty entrees and classics to choose from. Great atmosphere with indoor or outdoor seating. Staff was friendly and attentive. This is important. Will try again at some point.

Standing there being ignored by 3 people at the bar while the host who was doing nothing directed me to said bar with an attitude was all I needed to know. Left, didn’t, order, never coming back. Even just a friendly smile would have kept me waiting happily.
