My husband and I were driving through KC around lunchtime and we were craving breakfast food - AR’s was a perfect choice! I had the Zepeda Special which was essentially a chilaquiles with half red and half green sauce. The chips were the perfect combination of crisp and moistened with yummy sauce. What a great find! The service was warm and welcoming, and the food was full of flavor. The bacon was cooked to perfection—crispy without being burnt or soggy (though I don’t mind a little char!). The coffee was excellent, and the menu is impressively diverse.
The pancakes were delicious, and some of the options looked amazing—churro pancakes, anyone? I didn’t try them this time, but I’m definitely coming back for those.
