This place is so great! Every time we go my only disappointment is they often sell out of some of my favorites. The people are so friendly and helpful. One time I mentioned they were out of my favorite walnut bread and they went to find one in the back for me. They have also offered samples many times that we have been there. I will be visiting again and again. Thanks for the great bakery items and service Hamu!

We've been wanting some Chinese baked goods since we visited China. We finally found this bakery. It was like bakeries we found in China and the buns reminded us of what we had there. Proprietors were helpful and friendly and the Bobba Tea was really good to. We will be back.

Bread ? is FRESH, SUPER soft and yummy. Owner is very attentive, friendly and welcoming! She noticed I was pregnant and wanted to make sure all the ingredients are okay for me to buy/eat. Definitely going back and highly recommend.

Hidden gem of a bakery in Overland Park. The prices are insanely cheap compared to a lot of local Asian bakery’s. The lady that is working the front is super friendly and helpful. She’s always asking if you’ve tried something yet and loves giving out samples. My favorites so far would be the Japanese cheesecake and the basque cheesecake, and passionfruit panna cotta. I have yet to have a single bad thing from here.
Delicious deserts. Employee was extremely kind and helpful. I wanted to buy everything! Great pricings.

We used to be repeat customers at this bakery. However, during our most recent visit, we experienced poor customer service. The employees happily greeted multiple customers and offered them samples when they went to pay. When I went to pay for my baked goods, I was disappointed to see that the employee did not treat me in the same manner. Needless to say, we have not been back.

A lovely little bakery. They have a surprisingly wide selection for the size of the shop, and everything I tried was a-maz-ing! We actually went to another, much fancier bakery not far away, and I will absolutely be reforming to HAMU from now on. The cream bun was the softest, fluffiest one I've ever had (and that's the one thing I always get - my "basis of comparison" item) and the cream was so silky. The prices were also better than that other place. Which is not to say the other was bad, it wasn't! HAMU is just better.
