Such a beautiful, spacious and welcoming venue! Food and sauces are so fresh which is a differentiator from other local places. Family feel and our server Jimmy was as pro as they come!
I went for the dim sum and was not disappointed. It was easy to order, the staff was very friendly and fast. It was my first time so I tried multiple dishes and enjoyed all of them. The steamed pork buns were my favorite—they were soft and pillowy, like eating a cloud. Everything tasted fresh. And when I asked for a to-go box, she even brought me a to-go cup for my tea.
If you crave Dim Sum, this is THE place to go in KC. Unfortunately KC used to have a few more choices, but nowadays it's only at Bolings. Their dim sum is very very good. I would say it is on par with some of the best I've tried throughout my travels including in many Chinatowns in different US cities. Boling's is consistently one of the better ones I've had. The only reason I'm not giving this 5 stars is that they have been raising prices...
