So eager to write this. My husband used to frequent Cascone's in the 90's. My expectations were tempered because many years had passed and quality is hard to maintain. Wow! The staff was gracious, and the food was outstanding. May I suggest the meatballs (so tender and full of flavor) and the toasted Ravioli (hard to find in Colorado). And the house red sauce is divine. Wish everyone the best, Stephanie C.
The spaghetti was delicious. The sauce was slightly sweet but very tasty.

Patrick was excellent
reliable consistent italian pleasure
Tremendously tasty meal.
The food was great. We tried the parmesan crusted trout- incredible.
Chicken Limonata - very good.
Some mixed seafood red sauce dish (diablo) - pretty good.
Cocktails were good.
Only negative is that our server forgot to bring us a few things. Table bread, oil/butter for the bread and lemon wedges for our water.
He was entertaining and the restaurant was busy, so we understand if something is forgotten. But he told us for the above items that they would be brought and they were not (the bread came at the end of the meal.) I also just ended up grabbing the pitcher of water from nearby to fill my own glass.
The live music was great (piano).
A little spendy, but less than I expected.
We had Maria and she was an amazing server, she was super caring and wonderful. The food was so good, I recommend the tortellini!
Service was good. Meals were very good. My wife had an excellent chicken lemonade. I had the seafood pasta. Seasoning and sauce were excellent, the calamari was overcooked though and had the consistency of rubber bands.
Really surprising how this restaurant has gone downhill. We couldn't get water to start off. The server couldn't speak English so we were not sure she understood us when we asked for water
We had various dishes. I just know that we all had various indigestion problems the next day
This used to be a really good restaurant. So what happened,?
🙂Patrick our server, was very entertaining and accommodating and gave us excellent service, an awesome guy.

We have been coming here for years. It has always been excellent. Not too long ago we tried the Cascone's up north and while it was also good it did not match up to this one in Overland Park. The Italian Steak sandwich is the best anywhere and the fried potatoes with it are the best. The wait staff was very friendly and police and very quick taking our order. A new addition is the soft butter for the bread, which makes it much easier to use.
This is a family Italian restaurant. The service is very personable and friendly. We had several dishes and all of them were excellent. I don't think you could go wrong with anything you order here.
I really wanted to love this place but this was the worst experience I’ve ever had in a restaurant. Our waitress was very kind and likeable truly the only reason we stayed. but EXTREMELY slow (possibly understaffed) we waited 15 min before anyone came to take our drink order and on top of that our food took 30 min to come out. My order was wrong, had to be sent back & my husbands pasta was cold! The bread was fine but having to pay an extra $5 for oil & vinaigrette is insane to me. Olive Garden would put this place out of business which is sad because we’d pick small spots over brand names any day of the week. The women’s restroom was also out of paper towels AND toilet paper. (Pictures added) Very very disappointed, we will not be back.
I thought it was very loud and crowded. The table we sat at was squeezed so tight the server couldn't reach everyone so there was a lot of reach-overs and passing stuff around.
Food was just ok to me. One person in our party said the baked lasagna was the best he has ever had. Another thought the chicken spedini tasted like the meat was going bad.
There was not a single selection for anything not truly pasta based so i opted for bicetta modiga. The steak was good - but i wouldn't consider it a $40 steak.
For those who love italian food - you may delight in the menu items so i do not want to rain on anyones parade about that.
The server was a sweet older lady who worked her tail off.

We have gone here for many years and love the food. They have used the same recipes all this time, and the food is consistent. Service is usually very good. We dont care for the GM Essy as he is abrupt and can be nasty to staff. He acts more like a host than a mgr. Our most recent server was Sage, and she was fantastic. The restaurant is very outdated and could use a full makeover.
