My wife and I found this place back in 2011, when we lived a few blocks away... but still drive across town to enjoy their food. Some of the best Chinese we've had in KC in this price range. Atmosphere is only a half-notch above your typical strip mall fare, but service is always great, and the food is consistently good.

UPDATE: We stopped by last week after a long time (we live on the other side of town)... food is still excellent. Talked to the owner...

First off, they actually play Chinese music. The restaurant is clean. The service is friendly and attentive. The food is very good. I got the beef with green peppers and it was delicious as was the General Tsu's shrimp. I will definitely come back.

I've been a long time customer of this restaurant for many, many years and the food and service are consistently outstanding. The food is always fresh, delicious, appealing, generously portioned, and worth every penny.
