Coach's Bar & Grill - 135th

First time at Coach’s. It was very convenient to our hotel by the OP convention center. Typical sports bar with lots of TVs and and games on. Bathrooms and restaurant seemed relatively clean, altho all the sticky menus could use a scrub. Our waitress was great. I ordered the Reuben and she advised me that they serve it club style with a 3rd piece of bread in the middle. This was helpful so I could request to not have it. Sandwich was ok. It didn’t have any Swiss cheese in it and the 1000 Island dressing came on the side. So it was VERY dry. But it was fine as Steph brought me more sauce to put on it.

My colleague and I decided to try this spot for dinner, and we're so glad we did! On a Friday night, we both went for the catfish special, which came with three perfectly fried pieces of catfish, crispy house-made chips, and a side of coleslaw. The portion size was generous for the price, and the flavors were spot on. We also ordered the Tequila Falltini, and I have to give a shoutout to the bartender—he nailed it! The drink had the perfect balance of alcohol, and the Godiva chocolate was a deliciously indulgent touch that made it stand out. We’ll definitely be back the next time we’re in town for a conference!

Motz stick sauce was eh, sticks were good. Gizzards good. Spinach artichoke dip ok.

Enjoyed my time here. Molly and Analise were great! The food was just ok. I hate gummy wings. I sent one order back and changed the style (breaded to non breaded) and they were still gummy. Analise made me an amazing drink after J told her what I wanted. Molly had a great attitude and was very attentive. They were the best part of an otherwise underwhelming experience.

One word; patio. You looking for a super easy outdoor spot without the hassle of driving into the city? This rooftop is legit. Go there before two so you can get their bloody Mary, (which is an entire lunch but their menu doesn’t say that they cut it off at 2 so I’m telling you now so you don’t get shafted like I was lol.) The rest of the drinks are pretty legit. We had pulled pork nachos and Cajun fries, several rounds of mules, a peach tea, a manmosa, (which is tank 7 and orange juice—try it), and had ourselves just a lovely little patio hang.

Went here to watch college football and we were pleasantly surprised. The upper patio deck is amazing service was excellent and the food was delicious. I'll definitely be back.

We ordered two sandwiches one burger and one BLT the hamburger was huge, but so was my grandfather shoe. They need to get a better quality of beef very disappointing, next time you serve a BLT make sure you put it on the grill first when you cook the bacon instead of fresh out of the package Extremely disappointed in this place spend 25 years since I’ve ate a coaches definitely won’t be returning to this place sorry for the negative review to be real
