Food is fine. Seating is cramped. The food ordering experience is chaotic. Have been forgotten about on a few occasions. Staff seems to be really trying but without a system it gets rough.

No idea how this place has 4+ rating. The food is poor quality and wayyy too expensive. Fruit was overripe and rotting, a friend found a hair in her hash browns, and altogether Waffle House would have tasted better and cost less. Not to mention there is a gaping hole in the bathroom ceiling dripping water, and the bathroom has no heating. So gross.

Absolutely loves this place! The food tastes homemade, aka amazing, and the service is the best in the city. You’re missing out if you haven’t given this place a chance.

Pretty good breakfast/brunch place. We’ve been here a few times. It’s busy. Lots of people in and out. Good for small and large groups. We’ve had some service issues but nothing too bad. I think they’re just busy and forget to bring things. Decently priced and just a cozy cafe! Lots of options.

Extremely, extremely rude staff. What an unpleasant experience. Never again and will be excited when this place closes and a new place opens with both stellar food and staff.

I've lived in KC for 6 years and Cozy's is one of my favorite lesser-known spots. Menu includes both traditional brunch fare as well as Greek lunch specialities. For something different, order the Croque Monsieur (must love cheese!) or the Avocado Croissant Sandwich, my go-to. The place is family owned by a polite and efficient Greek family who you will see buzzing around doing various tasks, giving the atmosphere a welcoming, homey vibe.
Recommended dishes: Classic Croissant Sandwich, Croque Monsieur
1st time visitors. All around great. Hashbrowns were perfect, bacon was hot, pancakes golden brown & lamb burger cooked perfectly. Wait staff had a mission to make us happy & serious about their job.

Our visit started out great. This cafe has a pleasant atmosphere, and the place itself is clean (the restrooms were immaculate). Each table was adorned with fresh carnations in vases--nice touch. Then we waited...and waited...and waited. Granted, the place was busy, but like others have noted in their reviews, this place is inordinately slow--and it seems to be due to a bottleneck with the kitchen, because the servers were always staying busy. My wife ordered eggs, sunny-side-up, but she was brought scrambled eggs. We didn't want to have to wait for them to correct the mistake, so I ate her scrambled eggs, and she ate my over-easy eggs. The biscuits & gravy and eggs were very good; however, the sausage patty was one of the worst I've had, like something was wrong with the meet, and the bacon was not so good either. My wife hadn't drunk from her glass of water, then noticed lip smudges on the glass edges--so that was kind of gross. We then got the bill, and there was a coffee on it that we hadn't ordered. The waitress didn't apologize when we told her, but simply told us, "No problem" (which is what one says after somebody else apologizes). Overall, this was a mediocre experience, and because there are so many better breakfast restaurants, we won't be coming back.

Started with cappuccinos and both were cold. Ordered crepes with a side of bacon and my friend ordered an avocado croissant sandwich. The bacon never came out with the order and her sandwich didn’t have bacon or avocado on it. When we asked they said they were out of avocado. Not sure why no bacon. That was brought out separate. Still was billed for the bacon we didn’t get. Server never told us they were out of avocado, just gave us a sandwich without it.The bill was adjusted to take off the sandwich but we were still charge for the bacon. Very disappointing. Wouldn’t recommend.

This is a cute restaurant with a good location. They have a good menu. My experience today though was not good. The waitress took my order and then coughed in my face. Then she coughed in my coffee. When I got my food I found a long blonde hair tangled in my strawberries. I recommend they get coffee mugs rather than the tiny cups. Also recommend hair nets. I wish them much success but I likely won’t return due today’s experience.
