This place is a little gem. Everything was so tasty. We got the platter for 2 and it was all so delicious. The restaurant is clean and charming with white table cloths under glass. Service was good. I haven’t eaten Ethiopian food before and I was pleasantly surprised. Kind of like Indian food but different. Will be back

Doesn’t get much friendlier than this. I had an injera craving and went to Desta’s for the first time today. Immediately when I arrived for my order I was greeted with a smile and saw my beloved injera waiting for me on the counter. Had a nice conversation with Desta (I believe) and can’t wait to come back when I can enjoy some of the various items on the menu and of course some Ethiopian coffee as well. Lucky to have this restaurant so close by!

What a great find! Excellent freshly made to order food, perfectly seasoned. So many wonderful options, it was hard to decide so will definitely return. Vegetarian friendly. Also, warm and friendly service.

Decided to try Desta's for the first time tonight. We were so glad we did. The food was so fresh and flavorful. We tried the meat and vegetable combo. More than enough food for two. We brought home left overs. We also tried the coffee they roast when you order it. They bring the roasted beans out for you to smell. The coffee was delicious and rich. We paired the coffee with baklava. Tiny orange slices accompanied the baklava. I have never had it that way before but wish I had. The orange flavor was the perfect flavor to compliment the baklava. Service was great, the restaurant is lovely. Can't wait to go back!

I can't say enough good things about this restaurant. The food is excellent and flavorful. It is a little different dining experience from other places, as many of the dishes are not so familiar at first. That's okay! 😀 Another thing about this place is the service is excellent. Very friendly people that care about what they are doing. Try it!
