Really comfy brewery. Usually a pretty decent crowd. Best if you like IPAs - have had a good variety (with a couple of nice sours) but definitely IPA heavy. The IPAs are awesome though, even if that's not usually your go-to drink.
Really bright and welcoming venue for a meetup over drinks.

Been wanting to try this brewery out so we went last night for my wife’s birthday. She’s not a huge beer drinker but enjoys sours and lagers. She’s absolutely loved the place and immediately wants to go back. I’m a huge beer nerd and every beer I had was stellar. We will certainly be back again and again.

What a find! Had no idea this brewery was there but was in the 95/metcalf area and popped in. Made my own 4 pack to go and the IPAs are quite good. Nice vibe in there as well. Hope to go back, have some food and chill. Recommend it!
Awesome addition to the neighborhood! Very cool space. Impressive beers. And easy access to Jack Stack, delivered on demand.Tough to beat. This place is a winner.

I had a really nice time in there Saturday afternoon. The young woman behind the bar was very kind and helpful in my IPA selections. And you have great IPAs! Also, I appreciate the variety of non alcoholic drinks. I even had one of those. I love the layout of the place too! And what's going on with those barrels in back? Definitely coming again next weekend!

Brewery that’s part vinyl album store. I loved the atmosphere. It was like I was back in high school, hanging out at a friend’s place “discovering” their dad’s albums.
I’m not a big IPA fan and if I have one minor nitpick, it’s that their beer selection was very IPA heavy when I visited. However, they had a one or two darker, maltier options that I enjoyed and I would be back regardless just for the vibe. Beer was good, service was great. Highly recommend.
Also, Taco Bell is right across the street if you’re like me and get a late-night craving after a beer or three.

My buddy and I have been to Discourse plenty of times, and every visit is an absolute blast. The place has an awesome vibe—welcoming, laid-back, and exactly what you want in a great brewery. The staff? Top-notch!
We seem to get Michaela as our bartender pretty often, and honestly, she makes the experience even better. She’s funny, engaging, and just the kind of person you hope to see behind the bar. Whether it’s great conversation or just a solid recommendation, she always adds to the experience.
I don’t make it in as often as I’d like, but whenever I’m thinking about fresh, quality beer in the KC area, Discourse is always at the top of my list. Highly recommend checking it out!
