I wouldn't usually ding the service, I think we were sat in between 2 servers areas and we got overlooked for 10 minutes after sitting. After the waitresses figured out who we belonged to the service was good. The food was fantastic

The food was excellent in terms of the flavours, portions, and the variety on the menu. Our server was attentive and pleasant. The ambience is warm and homely.

Unsurprisingly, the main disappointment was the host, who upon seeing we’re the only two non-white people in the restaurant, showed us to a really small table despite: a) bigger tables being available and b) several people sitting in pairs or even by themselves at bigger tables.

I don’t expect FW to learn or train its staff to treat all people equally, which is the least an establishment should be ideally doing. But the least your staff (especially the host/ess) can be instructed to do is not be superficially warm and nice — such fake behavior stinks, is embarrassing and very obvious.

The colour of the customers’ skin should not decide how they should be treated.

It is ludicrous how the hospitality industry here without the exception of FW act like they’re entitled to receive tips from customers, when they don’t treat people equally. Genuinely good service and products increase the LIKELIHOOD of tipping, which is a PRIVILEGE, NOT a right.

The quality of the service should not be contingent upon how customers look or how likely they are to tip. This FW’s values and vision became abundantly clear in our first and last experience at this location.

It is always been my go-to breakfast store! They have vegetarian options. The food is fresh. I like their 100-% fresh juices the most. They are not from concentrates.

The staff and management really know how to handle a gluten allergy in the restaurant. They changed gloves, brought exactly what I ordered and I didn’t get sick!!! Yay!! Finally an establishment that understands.
