Horrible customer service. They gave me the wrong order and refused to refund me or exchange for my order.

Food was delicious and the portions were quite large. The server even packed up the leftovers for us to take.

Last trip to fortune wok after a truly disappointing experience overall. Beware - you may not get what you ordered and you may likely be overcharged for your food! At least that was what happened to us. We paid $55 plus tip for two entrees and a salad.We went in person and ordered to go due to the massive storms rolling in. I ordered at the counter, paid, and sat down. I thought the bill was higher than expected and looked up our order online. I wanted Thai basil chicken fried rice and asked about the spicy level to the two ladies behind the counter. After looking up prices online I was overcharged by $4 and was curious why this happened. I went up to the counter and spoke to the SAME person I ordered from. I showed her my online cart so she could read what I ordered and asked why it was higher. She said she would look into it. I never heard from her again.Fast forward to getting my food. I got to the car and looked at the items and realized that I did not get Thai basil chicken fried rice. So I called back and asked what I got (you know, food allergies and all) and found out the person at the counter had ordered Thai jalapeño chicken and then charged me extra for the fried rice (because the meal is not called fried rice - unlike what I ordered). Now we know why it was $4 more. The thing is - she could have corrected my order at the very minimum once she saw what I wanted in our online cart. These things are NOT the same and I do not like jalapeños unfortunately.Was offered to come back and get a replacement meal - that’s not the point of ordering to go (and being almost home), or attempting to correct it in the restaurant (which she cowardly avoided), and nor do I want to return when you overcharged me too! Got home to find that we had paid the $4 extra charge for fried rice for both of our meals apparently (so $8 total) and one was steamed rice. So we got the wrong meal, were overcharged for it, and then didn’t even get the rice we ordered and paid for. Called back. Was told I would get a meal refunded to my card. Hasn’t happened. Won’t be returning. So disappointed overall and gave them multiple chances to address the issue. The person taking the order needs to be moved to a different part of the restaurant or retrained. That I showed her my order and she still didn’t fix it or acknowledge the error is a real problem. How it wasn’t handled lost you a customer.

Have eaten here several times per month for many years. Food is always good, lunch is still a good value, and atmosphere is calm and relaxing. Good place to enjoy good food with friends. Wok roasted chicken and Schezwan beef are favorites! Love their egg rolls and salad dressing as well.

First time here. We drove from Blue Springs, after having trouble finding a sit-down Chinese restaurant on the Missouri side.The food was tasty and piping hot! The portions were huge, so we both will get a second meal out of this. Nice and quiet atmosphere. Good for relaxing.Drinks were slightly higher than we're used to, but my wife loved her Appletini!

For my Mom’s 91st Birthday we catered Fortune Wok. It was incredibly delicious and portions were so generous! We ordered four entrees and appetizers. They supplied fried rice, steamed rice, crispy noodles and all of the soy sauce, sweet and sour sauce and hot mustard complementary!We worked with the owner, Steve who helped us with the menu… made sure everything was ready… was so kind when we had to make changes… and even remembered my Mom’s favorite menu item at Fortune Wok is wonton soup and gave us a complementary quart!Fortune Wok will be our go-to for all future family gatherings!!!Honestly, I cannot thank them enough and I highly recommend them!

General tso dinner was not spicy at all, the chicken portions were hard. The sweet and sour sauce for the crab Rangoon was not very good either. Chicken lo mein, the chicken was not cooked all the way was not very good either. Service was fine, but the food was far from authentic
