Ate there for an early dinner to beat the rush tonight. We just moved to the KC area a few months ago, and was looking for an Italian place. This place is our new go to! Outstanding food and service. The prices looks a little high, but then we saw the portions, and they are easily two meals worth of food per order. Will absolutely be going back very soon! Not a bad thing to say about our experience.

My wife and I went here for our Wedding Anniversary dinner and it was wonderful. Macy did a great job with suggestions and taking care of us. We started off with the Mozzarella Fritti for the appetizer and WOW, it was great. Definitely the best mozzarella we have ever had. Cooked just St right and the tomato sauce was delightful. For mains she had the Bistecca Modiga and I had the Tortellini Gina, again both we amazing. Fresh and full of flavor, you couldn't ask for a better experience.

Best Italian food and service I've ever experienced outside of Italian grandmother's homemade that is, lol. My oldest son was visiting from out of state and took me to dinner at Garozzo's and he also enjoyed it very much. We were able to get a high top without wait or reservation, bar drinks were good as well and the food portions were as expected. A little pricey, but worth it!

Not bad, but it seems like they're resting on a previous reputation, and the effort just isn't there anymore. Food was solid, but some quality missteps will keep me from going back. Ricco's is just down the road. Better food (and certainly drinks!) can be found there.

I’ve been to Garozzo’s several times, including the original downtown location, and while it’s a great spot, the Overland Park location on College Blvd is on another level. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted like VIPs by the managers Austin, Richard, and Joanne—which immediately set the tone for an incredible Saturday afternoon.
And then there was Blaine, our waiter, who absolutely crushed it. He kept our drinks full without us having to ask, made sure every dish came out hot and fresh, and just had that perfect balance of attentiveness without ever feeling overbearing. If great service had a gold standard, Blaine set it.
Now, let’s talk about the food. I had the Chicken Alfredo with Shrimp, my wife had the Vodka Rigatoni, and both were absolutely PERFECT. The sauces were rich and flavorful, the pasta cooked just right—it was the kind of meal that makes you stop mid-bite just to appreciate how good it is. My wife was loving hers, and when she’s happy with a restaurant choice, that’s a major win.
I wish I had pictures to show off how amazing everything looked, but by the time I even thought about it, our plates were clean LOL.
And let’s not forget parking—such a simple thing, but it makes a big difference. Sometimes finding a spot at the downtown location can feel like an obstacle course lol. But here, it was easy. Pulled up, parked, walked in. No stress, no circling the block, just straight to enjoying a great meal.
Bottom line—Garozzo’s Overland Park is the best location, hands down. The food, the service, the overall experience—it’s all top-tier. 10/10. We’ll be back!

Love the atmosphere!!
My first time dining in. The food was good. However, I was highly disappointed with the way we felt rushed during our visit. Our reservation was at 8:15p and the restaurant closes at 10. We were completely rushed & hassled. I really didn't appreciate that. We were gathering with family that we hadn't seen in a long time. Very disappointing!

Garozzo's never disappoints! I’ve had the pleasure of enjoying their food at weddings, in their restaurant, and even through takeout, and it’s always fantastic. The dishes are full of flavor, and I especially appreciate their gluten-free options, which never compromise on taste. Whether I’m dining in or grabbing a meal to go, the quality and service are consistently excellent. If you’re looking for delicious Italian food with great gluten-free choices, Garozzo's is the place to go! Highly recommend!

Garozzo's Restaurant in Overland Park, KS, offers an exceptional dining experience with a cozy, welcoming atmosphere. Known for its classic Italian dishes, the restaurant delivers consistently delicious meals made with fresh ingredients. The place is most of the time busy and it needs reservations to avoid an hour waiting. A standout dish is the Chicken Spiedini, featuring tender chicken marinated in a lemon-garlic sauce, grilled to perfection, and served with a side of pasta.. The portions are generous, and the service is friendly and attentive. The charming ambiance and quality of food make Garozzo's a local favorite for both casual dinners and special occasions. Highly recommended for anyone craving authentic Italian cuisine in the Overland Park area!
