Confusion: Closed? Yes? No? Saw this place on Yelp, looked promising. Went on Google to find directions, was told this place was closed all week. In our confusion we called to check. A lady picked up with an, "Um, hello?" And I asked if they were open since she answered and she says, "No, just for carry out" Like ??? We wanted the shaved ice and boba, how can we take this stuff carryout? So I asked when they would open again, thinking this was temporary, and she said, "We don't open restaurant anymore, just carryout." She seemed very reluctant to help us out or inform us of the situation if it was just temporary for the holidays or what-not. She did not elaborate on what we could order either, nor was she very polite about it. Final concensus: still confused, sad we didn't get shaved ice and boba. Can anyone confirm?

This was recommended by my friend, Liz, who is an Elite Yelper and funny as all can get! This place did not disappoint! My friend and I had time to kill so we went to get ice cream. The owner is super nice and explained to us the whole process. She made our ice cream and ended up giving us free food. We tend to get freebies to several places. Go here and try something different. I had tapioca balls in mine and it was perfect.

Excellent service and great place to come and relax. The atmosphere is really soothing and the drinks are really tasty and refreshing any season. I would reccomend their boba tea specfically the peach flavor and their ice cream is very genuine. Great place to stop by and pick up a drink or a bite to eat.

Definitely a hidden gem for a unique ice cream experience. Never had such light airy ice cream before. So good. Service a little slow but worth the wait for the ice cream.

I have been to Glacier Cove about 5 times and have never been disappointed. The first time I ordered the Classic Chocolate shaved ice cream. It was so amazing, I can't bring myself to order anything different even though so many other things look so good. The Classic Chocolate comes topped with Oreo pieces, choco rolls, a few pieces of fresh fruit (like blueberries or strawberries), chopped nuts, condensed milk, caramel and chocolate syrup. It is always very clean with great seating and very polite and prompt service. It is the perfect place to take someone for a surprise treat!

Tried this place yesterday, was going to go here for the shaved ice but ended up ordering other stuff instead. The veggie dumpling soup was so fresh and good! The broth in the soup is vegetable based (for the veggie dumplings) so it is a good option if you are vegetarian. The best dumplings I've had in Kansas City, very flavorful. I also ordered a moon cake (YUM!), the pumpkin soup, and the mochi soup which were delicious as well. Everything was made fresh and I will definitely be back again!

Shave ice, good. Food, good. But seriously, what is up with the hours? Every time I think about going here, I can't because they are closed. I am not trying to go at midnight or some odd hour. Some days I just want lunch and your not open. -2 stars for not accommodating to customers schedule.
