i would give a 0 star if possible. unbelievable that you guys fired someone over asking if a teenager was safe. i myself am a teenager and to think no one knows if that girl is in a bad place or not? the mom answered for her and walked away. clearly that girl needs help and instead you guys let them go and fired the person that could have helped her. seriously? absolutely worst place ever, never will see me in this store.

Local and lots of products! Breakfast, lunch, dinner, load up on snacks....! Not sure why the ratings are so low for this location! With the close proximity to the soccer fields, this is a great place to grab in between games snacks after game breakfast or lunch or grocery shop for the house. There is also a Starbucks inside so if your a soccer mom like me you can grab snacks and drinks for your player and get a coffee for the fields while your there!

Went in to pick up produce and decided to get a quick lunch while I was there.Took way too long to get what I needed because the employees who should have been stocking items were literally on their phones in the middle of the aisles and wouldn't move. The sandwich I purchased looked like it would have been rejected at a gas station and the potatoes in the potato salad were just sliced and uncooked. Huge waste of money as I had to throw away everything I bought for my lunch.

Their fuel saver rewards never ring up anymore. The JOCO moms won't move so you can get to an open self-checkout bay. If you're under 40, the staff watches you like a hawk at the self-checkout.I'm a native Iowan, I'm not going to steal from a company started in Iowa. I wish the MO and KS locations of this company were managed like the ones in Iowa. I hate to say it, but I'm going to Hen House from now on.

The worst place I have ever worked in my life! I was taken advantage of put at the back then had to pick up others slack. Day shift stuff was put on night shift stuff on top of the truck they already have. Plus I can't even eat the free food I was given as a employee without getting food poisoning I should be able to eat at a establishment I work at is that to much to ask?

This store continues to let panhandlers beg for money that supports open transphobes. This has been reported multiple times, multiple years, and yet they never these hatemongers from out front.

The grocery part is ok, but I cannot stress enough how much you should avoid the pharmacy. It has evidently been in between managers for quite some time now, and sadly, it shows. Without fail, every month I go to fill my son’s two very routine prescriptions, there’s confusion and an odd problem on account of the pharmacy’s disorganization. It usually starts with them being unable to find the prescription. Then they say they can’t fill it. Then it’s an issue with figuring out the insurance (bcbs-Kc). Then they say they can fill it, and it will be ready tomorrow…but it never is. Eventually things get filled, but not without a significant time investment on my part, and massive confusion on theirs. I should have moved these prescriptions long ago, but doing so is a pain, and I had hoped things would improve in terms of their reliability, organization and consistency. Today I was ultimately unable to fill my son’s prescriptions, which yesterday a Hyvee pharmacy employee had confirmed would be ready. The woman working today was very short with me and said she had no idea who told me they’d be filled, but they wouldn’t be, and nor could they be filled anytime soon. She spoke down to me as though I was the stupidest person alive - when I was simply relying on information her coworker relayed. I can only hope hyvee fills the actual prescriptions with greater accuracy and care than that with which they use to communicate. Unfortunately, I have no way to know. I expressed my concerns today to a mid level store manager, and while he apologized, he didn’t appear surprised by any of what I was saying nor did he appear to be very moved by it. Save yourself a headache and avoid this pharmacy.

This rating is for Pharmacy alone. Meds are never ready and they automatically assume you want the automated packaging when they receive a new script. If my doctor sends a script that day I would like the option to pick it up that day. Not have to waste for the automated packaging.

Just high prices these days. Fish area looks like fish lived in last century. Used to rave about their bakery. Bought a $5 Asiago bread loaf the other day.... could not find a scent or indication any asiago cheese came within a mile of it. Was just a stale loaf of sour dough... sigh. no quality control here anymore. Manager must be on leave.

What HyVee isn't crowded, regardless of the time of day? (Early mornings after opening are the prime time to shop. You also cannot go wrong in the late evening after 7.) I've visited other local HyVee's-all are always overcrowded and chaotic, but this location takes the cake. And, it does not pass the vibe check. Enough about the crowds, though. Let's get into this pharmacy. It's a post-pandemic/COVID world. Everywhere is short on staff and supplies. I am fully aware of this. However... This pharmacy is the worst one we have ever visited. Thankfully, my husband picked up his script during the lunch hour and was able to actually get his medicine. A miracle! Any other time he has been to pick up, it's over a 45 minute wait in the drive thru! He ends up leaving the line because the wait is too long. If you think going inside is much quicker, think again! It is the definition of chaotic! While standing in line, you're competing with Grandmas and grandpas (no disrespect to the elders.) trying to pick up Miralax from neighboring aisles, hurried yoga moms (No disrespect cause I do yoga too) nearly running over other patrons with shopping carts trying to cut through the massive line to get to Goli Gummies, and other folks trying to pick up meds for their loved ones. It's Supermarket Sweep-Rx edition here. It's just a mess! Honestly, all grocery store pharmacies have a poor setup and design. The overcrowded nature of this location just exacerbates this issue. Might I add that the pharmacy tech running the window made a snide remark when my husband picked up his medication. "Took you long enough to get here and pick this up!" Well, if your lines were not so long and chaotic, we wouldn't have to leave and try to come back several times throughout the week to get our meds!! The nerve! We cannot wait to switch pharmacies when we move! Frankly, I've had much better luck and a customer service experience at CVS-and that's saying a lot. 19/10 do not recommend.

I called and asked the bakery if they had the mandalorian cupcakes to match the cakes online (like the ones pictures) he told me yes! I asked if they even had the baby yoda rings and was still told yes!! I drove 30+ minutes to pick up my order to show up and see what my friends are referring to as “zombie boobs” ? no rings, not orange, grey and white like the cake!! The baker who gave me my order was SUPER sweet and did give me a small discount but even he was unsure why anyone would take the order for baby Yoda cupcakes AND why nobody thought to call me before making these! Not the money I wanted to spend but with limited time I didn’t have it to stand there and argue and no time to order ANYTHING else so had to take what I got! *if you are going to completely not go with a customers order at least call them and let them know ahead of time!!
