We have always loved this restaurant and have frequented it since it opened. We probably eat there at least once a month...or did. Over the last year we have seen a decline in the quality and amount of food, by as much as 1/3rd. For example, in the U.S. crab rangoon is generally too sweet, at least in mediocre Chinese restaurants. But Jasmine Garden's was always very good. But over the last year it has become sweeter and no longer seems to contain green onion. Last night I ordered General Tso's chicken, for carry out. It came unsauced which I had never seen but went ahead and put the sauce on it. It was ok taste wise but had no heat and was just bland. Tonight I was going to try again with the left overs and as I started to prepare it I realized it had pineapple in it! It was sweet and sour chicken! This is the 2nd time they have not sent my order correctly! The last time we ordered, I ordered Chicken Fried Rice and asked if they would add some peas and carrots to it. When we got home, I'd received plain fried rice. My husbands meals have been correct but he says they aren't as good as they once were. Still, they are better than the hole in the wall Chinese "restaurants" you see scatter around. They will perhaps get one more try from us but it looks like we might be searching for a new quality Chinese restaurant. This makes me sad as I have always appreciated the service and the food here. Hopefully the next time will be better.

My favorite place to get lunch. It's quick, yummy, and it's large enough portions to allow me to have lunch for two days. This is my new favorite chinese restaurant in KC. Everything is always warm, tasty and the crab rangoons are to. die. for. highly recommend to anyone looking for good chinese that is cost efficient and flavorful!

Straight forward Chinese takeout spot. Decent deals for lunch specials and combo plates. They include soup in their lunch specials which I think distinguishes them from other Chinese spots. I recommend trying.

We had some dishes we liked before but the lo mein wasn't good .... More noodles than vegetables, lack of flavor (had to add my own seasonings), and the oil tasted old/a bit rancid. ?

I love this restaurant as it's a hidden gem in a strip mall on 95th street! The appetizers are all good and fresh. The hot and sour soup is excellent! I think I've tried almost everything on the menu and it's all very good! My favorite dish is the house special mei fun!

I wanted to try this place since my favorite Chinese place (China Chef) was closed due to the holiday. It cost about the same but the food was not even close. Last time I go to this place. China Chef down the street is on another level it’s crazy. If you haven’t tried that place I just did you a huge favor.

Mike and Leslie run the best Chinese restaurant I've ever ate at. The Hot and Sour soup is excellent as are the fried dumplings. You can't go wrong with the Mongolian Beef or the Egg Foo Young the portions are large so you won't go home hungry. The service is excellent, efficient and fast. The prices are very reasonable for the quantity and quality of their food. If your looking for a black tie restaurant then this isn't the place for you it's a small tastefully decorated family oriented place to get a quality meal for a reasonable price.
