Wow to the wow! I've literally been going here for years, and the service and food portions have went way down recently! I just got the frenchdip special. I paid $13.09 without a freaking tip for the tiniest bag of chips and a sandwich with about 6 ounces of meat or less. Soooooo unacceptable! I called to talk to the manager and he isn't even in the place right now....WTAF??? DON'T KNOW IF I'LL EVER COME BACK. TERRBLE!I got a ruben last time with the same amount of meat. YOU CHARGE WAY TOO MUCH FOR YOUR PORTIONS!!

First time eating here. YUMMY!!! We were attending an event right down the road, so we stopped in. The sandwiches are FANTASTIC! I'd actually go for the 50 minute drive, just to return for one of their roast beef subs!

This is the greatest sandwich and deli shop you can find in Overland Park and arguabley all of Kansas City. The sandwiches have that tall stack of meats and toppings that are hard to find at the surrounding chain sandwich shops. The selections of meats, cheeses, breads, and toppings are extensive, making it a great place to go with a group of people, or if you haven't figured out what you're craving. They have many menu items to give you ideas, which are able to be customized, plus the option of building your own. Highly recommend this place if you want to experience the best sandwich of your life.

Had the worst exp. ever here yesterday..Went in for a sub and the first two i ordered they could not make--No Bacon and anot sure the other excuse...So I ordered a regular Veggie sub with no cucumber-no oil and vinegar but wanted mayonnaise.Wanted cheese-swiss and pepper jack...Get the order--$16.50 for a veggie sub...Get home and low and behold-They put oil and vinegar and No mayonnaise...The cheese was NOT what I ordered..it was sharp and some other white stuff. And they added the cucumber.....Wanted pepper and oregano and did not get that...Just about everything was wrong and it was $16.50. And the place was almost empty so there should have been no distractions.....Never ever again......

Just left this restaurant. Used to be a great place. Not clean at all. No meat in the open cooler. Bathrooms were terrible. And then they use a microwave to melt everything. Now my husband's stomach hurts and my sandwich was soggy and very greasy. Not going back.

Update August 22, 2022: Good sandwich, but the building and parking lot are becoming run down, and the men's bathroom is shoddy -- soap dispenser has been ripped off wall and is sitting on sink, toilet seat has contamination on underside and hinges. The manager is attentive and sharp. Downgrading from 4 to 3 stars

Food was ok. Way over priced, 2 sandwiches 1 drink & 2 small chips 27$. The chips were the small bags like you get in combo pks for kids lunches so Small bags. The sandwiches were 9 something a piece so with 1 drink & 2 chips with tax totaled $27?The sandwiches were ok, I personally think Jasons Deli is better. And it took quite awhile to get our food & we were the only ones in there. Not some place I'm wanting to go back to ?

Let me start by saying I have eaten Jersey Boyz for over a decade. I always choose JB over Jersey Mikes. Writing this because I'm actually mad. There were two slices of pepperoni on my #4.. I was starving, so I ate half before I realized it. Don't let it happen again.

This used to be the best sandwich place I used to work here in high school and the original family who owned it was amazing they always kept things awesome and the sandwich was we're always fresh and delicious but whatever's going on there now is definitely not good it's under new ownership and the truthfully seems like they just don't want to be in business anymore cuz they're never open and the sandwiches are not up to par not even close actually don't waste your time even going here. Unfortunately it pains me to make a review like this because this place has been so close to my heart for so long I wish they would get back to delicious

I went in for lunch at the 151st and Metcalf location in Overland Park. They have a lot of sub and sandwich choices, and I was really in the mood for a good Philly Cheesesteak sub. They had several side selections as well. After ordering my sub, I tried to order a side. Literally, I went through 4 choices, and the cashier said they were out of every side I chose! Eventually, a kid came up from the rear of the kitchen and said that he found one last order of onion rings. I was hungry, and that was what I had wanted initially so I ordered it. Chose a 12 oz can of ice tea, paid almost $20 for my lunch and sat down, expecting an amazing lunch. This picture was the lunch I received. Extremely disappointed. Small sub with very small amounts of food between a boring and generic sub roll, the onion rings were greasy and some were overcooked. I couldn't believe I paid almost $20 for this! Never again. Not going back ever again. Such high expectations and such a disappointment.

Three stars make a good average because when the food is made right, it's delicious. However you have days when they mess up a lot of the order. Today, they put tomatoes on a sandwich that wasn't supposed to have them, barely but cream cheese on a sandwich that we paid to have extra, forgot the pickle we paid for, and served ice cold fries. Staff was a bunch of young kids who didn't seem to care, but that's not always the case. I'd go back but if I'm getting a to-go order, I'll have to open everything and check it before I leave.

Too bad that nothing was correct, no extra meatballs, no cheese at all on the sub, no sauerkraut of the barb lite, and apparently they have no idea how to contact customer's when they are COMPLETELY out of the remaining sandwich that was ordered. When I went into pick up the order, at that time I was told they have no roast beef for the French dip - but I could do a French dip with Turkey or ham...seriously?? I asked why I was not contacted that they were out of the primary/essentially the entire ingredient. They had a "don't care" attitude and said that since I ordered on-line, my phone number "disappeared". Completely ridiculous. The attitude was unbelievable! I should have read the recent reviews to go elsewhere. I certainly will from now on.

When you close early, make sure you can't order online and take people's money for no food. You took my money

Good subs, always thought the food tasted good. Also a good variety of sandwiches (so.ething for everyone). As a warning, they do tend to be pretty slow, so just don't go here if you're in a hurry.

I came in last week and placed an order of a pastrami sandwich with the owner. It was absolutely delicious! It was shaved, piled high, tender….. perfect! I absolutely loved the spicy slaw side as well. I enjoyed my sandwich so much that I talked it up to my husband as one of the best sandwiches I had ever had. Today, as soon as he returned from his business trip, we went forlunch as my rave reviews made him crave the same. Man did the kids working lunch today make me into a liar! What he got was a few THICK cut, tough pieces of extremely salty pastrami heated on some bread. Two sandwiches, drinks & chips $31.02 for a lunch that would have been better at Arby’s. No more bragging on Jersey Boyz for me!! Blech!!
