The food is good but the service is hit or miss. We've had several strange visits where staff seems like they don't want us to order anything but today takes the cake and we won't be back. We walked in and placed 2 orders for pretzel nuggets with cheese and paid. We were told by the teenager working that they were currently in the oven and it would be a little wait and we were fine with that. Twenty-five minutes later we had watched at least 10 other customers get their food and walk out. When my husband went up and asked what was going on they said they didn't even know we had placed an order? Like, what did they think we were sitting there for in the blazing heat? We just like hanging out at hot pretzel places? The teenager who took our order wouldn't even look up or say anything. We ended up leaving empty handed and will never be back. Very disappointed.

As an east coast transplant I have had many Philly style pretzels. They are one of my favourite comfort treats, chewy, pillowy and dippable. I never thought I would come across a philly style pretzel here in KC, but here we are. I encourage anyone and everyone who comes through Pretzel Boys to FORGET everything you know about soft pretzels, especially if you can only compare to Auntie Ann’s. This is NOT auntie ann’s, and you will be disappointed and doing yourself, and Pretzel Boys a huge disservice by comparing these delicious hand made treats, to mall snacks. You’re not coming here for buttered up microwaved quiktrip pretzels. You’re not coming here for a dine in experience. You’re coming here to get your hot pretzel dog to toss down your gullet in your car while disregarding the calories. Pro-tip, get the nuggets, a cup of jalapeño cheese for the ride home, and two softies to save for later. Also shoutout to the girls for giving me a t-shirt when my boyfriend asked if we could buy one, he knows i’m obsessed with this place and we come every weekend for a treat. I wear my pretzel shirt proudly and recommend this place to everyone. Truly something special and makes me reminisce about being home. Thank you for bringing Philly to KC, you’re doing a great job, and I look forward to many many many more softies.

Ordered the pretzel party tray, pretzel dog party tray and custom #2 pretzel for my daughter's 2nd birthday. It was a hit with the kids and adults alike! Everyone couldn't get over how soft and delicious the pretzels were. The mustard vs spicy mustard debate amongst the adults was a party game all in itself lol. The overall favorite dip was of course the classic cheese dip. Price was reasonable and the staff was able to help me fix my order after I changed my mind between delivery and pickup. I will definitely use Pretzel Boys for my party catering needs in the future!

Nice assortment of pretzel wrapped hot dogs, sausages, and brats. Just wish they had some of the mini pretzel dogs ready to go so you don't have to wait 10 mins for them.

This was extremely disappointing. I ordered through doordash and my pretzel dogs had hardly any pretzel around them, it was JUST picked up and already stale and the inside cold like it had been out for several hours. Also the soft cinnamon pretzel literally had raw dough in it... I honestly really hope I don't get food poisoning after trying it.
