We did a carry out order and had the Pho, Tom Yum, and Boat Noodles. They were all so dang good. We had some of the spicy sauces on the side and all of these were great as well. First time trying this place and its easy to see why most reviews are 5 star. This was great.

Delicious food, the boat noodle soup was very flavorful and I appreciated that they did not hold back on the spice.

This spot has been on my radar for a while — I love Vietnamese food and was curious about the Laotian side. This was my second try at Laotian cuisine and first in a restaurant setting, and I was impressed.

I ordered carryout after a volunteer event and went with the Khao Choy (authentic Lao noodle soup) and Beef Pad Kua Mee. The Khao Choy had a tomato-based broth with flat noodles, chicken, bean sprouts, and mint. The broth was aromatic, flavorful, and actually hot — not a dumbed-down spice level. It came packaged thoughtfully, with broth and toppings separate, so everything stayed fresh until mixed together at home.

The Pad Kua Mee (their house favorite) was fantastic — like an elevated beef chow fun. Wide noodles with the perfect chewy bite, eggs, bean sprouts, scallions, and plenty of beef. Balanced seasoning, not greasy or overly salty, and served over foil to keep it warm.

The interior is dim but charming, with floral decor that makes it a cozy date spot. Service details and portion sizes show real care. I’ll definitely be back to try their version of tom yum, but the Pad Kua Mee has earned a permanent spot on my rotation.
4.5 stars rounded up to 5.

I travel a ton for work and I've been to MANY Thai, Vietnamese, and Lao restaurants across the US as a result. This place is a hidden gem. The food is top 5 all time for me. It is always fresh and delicious. I'm new to the OP area but I've already found my new favorite spot!

I ordered a Vietnamese classic and it really fell short! I feel like if you advertise your restaurant for Vietnamese and Laos cuisine you would at least do respect to your Vietnamese side of the restaurant, but they didn’t really deliver in that aspect! Let’s just say they need to do a little work on the sandwich that Has been held iconic throughout the Vietnamese cuisine community for probably longer than they Have owned there restaurant!

YALL THIS IS THE PLACE TO GO!!!
Being Hmong and closely related, we adopted many of the Laotian cuisine. So THANK YOU to Lao food for being the blue print! It really reminds me of home. You can tell each and every dish is made with love. Super flavorful, rich and overall what you would expect Lao food to taste like: Savory, sour and spicy! 🌶️ They also serve traditional soups (which I didn’t get to try today) that you can not find anywhere else. Soups that would be made at home such as their tripe soup (I forgot what it’s called but it’s closely related to kaeng).

We got their tiger cry beef, crispy pork ribs, tom yum noodle soup and their namkhao! Everything was 12/10!!!

I hope with more attention and customers they get, that they are able to expand their restaurant! 🫶🏼
