The amigos that took my order did not want to be there. The customer service was dry, and the food was dry. Probably won’t go again.

La Fuente is great for Mexican food, fast! The restaurant is modest and clean. There is no table service, just order in the line and seat yourself. I prefer their street tacos, but they also offer burrito's and bowls, among other options. More importantly, they offer a variety of quality meats, including Steak, Chicken, Barbacoa, Costilla, Carnitas, Al Pastor, and Chicken Tinga.

First time here, and I will definitely be back. The food is delicious. The service is great. The frozen margaritas are perfect. I'm not a big drinker, but I love an occasional margarita. They are not skimpy on the tequila. It's perfect. I love the a la carte setup so you can tell them what you want on your food. I had a barbacoa taco salad. The choices of toppings is endless. You will not go hungry here, and you will not spend your life savings here either. I had the taco salad and margarita, my friend had a chicken burrito and soda. The chips and salsa comes with the order. We spent a total of $37. Sounds reasonable, right?

Not a great experience. The food was okay, but the staff, particularly the ones putting out orders together, were incredibly rude. They made jokes about us in Spanish and smirk at each other right in front of us.
Absolutely not coming back here ever again or any of the other locations in the KC area.

I’ve been living in Virginia now for 2 years and we made a trip to Kansas City to visit some family. Ate at this spot 3 times. Miss some of the best Tex-Mex the Midwest offers.

The food was very subpar. It lacks flavor. The Mexican rice was incredibly bland. The tacos were very... meh, to say the least. The elote's only flavor was mayo. The best part of my meal was the soda, to be honest. Not to mention, it was overpriced, and that only makes the disappointment hit harder.
What a breath of fresh air this place is. This is the closest thing you’re going to get to real Mexican food or TexMex without going into Kansas City Kansas. The people are really friendly. I do agree that the Spanish rice needs a little enhancement.
First time coming here. The tacos are super good. The mild salsa is PERFECT! The right amount of spice and salt.
100% chance I'm coming back and will recommend this place to others.

Some of the best salsa that exists. Def recommend the guac too.
