I come here for awhile and recently they have a new lady in the morning, She was so sweet and patient with me even with a long line and being by herself from what it looked like. She explained she was on her second week working but we really couldn't tell by how quick she handled everyone, while also being kind. Please keep her around!

Came here to pick up a 2 good to go bag and they were closed. Pick up was supposed to be from 7pm to 7:30pm. Now I have to wait for a refund. Do participate in something and not commit. Thanks for wasting my time 😔

Let me start by saying, I love Lamar's doughnuts 🍩 & I still believe they have the best doughnuts in the Midwest. With that being said, I've been to many locations, and unfortunately, this location only had 1 employee who was trying to serve all of leawood by herself. The doughnuts were not contained but out in the open, on trays, and they did not contain their freshness. I waited 20 minutes just to order 3 glaze doughnuts that were not fresh at all. I understand they open early, but 830 a.m. is definitely early enough to buy fresh doughnuts. It wasn't busy. It was just 1 employee working, and she was overwhelmed with just a few customers. Bless her heart 🙏 but I won't be visiting this location again.

Why Raise the Prices and Also make the Donuts SMALLER???? Not even offering anything reasonable for a half Dozen… 7 dollars for a Donut now. crazy.

Extremely slow (33 minutes)and 3 of my $53 worth doughnuts were not what they were labeled. Got chocolate instead of Bavarian and my family hates chocolate.

Went against my better judgement and purchased 1/2 dozen for 3 french cruellers, 2 plain glazed, 1 raspberry filled for $21.10. I immediately noticed a few sugar ants crawling in donut case. I I notified the irritated man, he said was fixing the problem by moving the donuts from the bottom row a higher level rack in the same display case. :-( *shrug*..... he thinks ants can't scale the walls to get to the donuts) Got home and the donuts are stale and the cruellers tasted like they were fried in old oil. Not fresh taste like yesterdays donuts left in the display case for too long. (Ate 1, 1 bite of two others, rest goes in the trash) Bad day for Lamar's... BEWARE.

Some of the donuts had uncooked dough in the center. The gal behind the counter (who was reading a book throughout our visit) said the bakery was having issues and sometimes the donuts weren't fully cooked. There were no to-go lids for the coffee and no to-go bags. There was water all over the floor near the check out area. Very unpleasant experience. Won't be going back.
