If you’re anywhere near 87th Street in Lenexa, near Westlake Hardware, you have to check out Lenny’s Sub Shop. The bread is made fresh daily, and you can really taste the difference—it’s soft, flavorful, and the perfect base for a seriously great sandwich. The ingredients are always fresh and packed with flavor, and they don’t skimp on portions either—you easily get three times more than what you’d find at the typical chain sub shops. OMG. I’ve eaten some very good Philly cheese steak sandwiches (Philadelphia good) and this was one of the best. Finally found a great Philly cheese steak in KC. Bread was fantastic, was filled to the brim with steak, bell peppers, mushrooms and onion and oh the cheese was melted perfectly. My compliments to the chef!!!!
