My husband is a Welsh expat and this place felt like a little slice of home for him. Great atmosphere!
First time we went, we were not impressed. However, it was due to the extreme short staffing at the time, and as a former waiter myself, I dont count that against the restaurant, just the management.
The best atmosphere around, they have turned an old church into a bar, It’s wonderful! There is live music all the time with a great crowd. The beer selection is amazing and the food is always very good.
The food was great. The place has a lot of cool history and the bartender was extremely knowledgeable about everything. Will definitely be going back.
Went on a quiet evening during the week. Great tasting Fish & Chips. Beer battered cod. Nice!
Good food in an old church. Got loud later in the evening and was difficult to visit with our friends. Will be back. Prices reasonable.
We walked into Llewellyn's at 7:30 on a Sunday evening to grab dinner. We sat there for 15 minutes and never got waited on or even acknowledged! They weren't very busy at all, and we sat very close to the bar, so we know they saw us. Meanwhile the waitress chose to ignore us, and the bartender was on his phone the entire time. They have great food, but ya have to get waited on first! We finally got up and left, and never did get acknowledged!
Love the relaxed atmosphere and their Irish pub food. Had Shepherds Pie and the fish sandwich. Very tasty! Great beer selection as well.
Love the bar side of this Irish Establishment, but the smell presumably from the water and sewage needs to be fixed
I was here with a group of folks I normally wouldn't take to a bar. They grabbed a table with no regard to the situation and the staff was like, "Ok, this'll work." I knew this place would get a 5-star from me before I even walked in but I was very happy when it met my criterion. Fried pickles can easily win me over if they're good enough, and Llywelyn's got them right. Be sure to check out their curtains when you have the chance.

This site is my number one site. Of all restaurants I know I prefere it most. I never miss an opportunity to go to visit this place. Whenever I I need a special lunch, this place comes straightaway to my mind. best and all sorts of food and a large menu.generous team, and agreeable atmosphere. And very important, the tariff is good. I suggest this place with no hesitation.
The smell of this aging building is overwhelming now and detracts from its charm. Once a favorite joint of ours but we won't be back until the issues are resolved.
My family and I participated in the christmas pub crawl this year and went to Llywelyns Pub for a drink. My father in law asked for 11 shots, one for each of us. The bartender, which also stated he was the manager gave me the worst service and attitude I've seen to date. My father in law simply asked for a shot of dill pickle juice, not knowing it was an issue for the bartender to make. This made him furious. Trying to avoid serving us because of it. If you don't serve it, just politely say I'm sorry but we don't do that. Not be a completely a hole and mean mug 11 people, 4 over 80 years of age. I get people have bad days, but as a business owner, i would never allow a customer experience like the one we received. I will be coming in again on a normal day so I can file a formal complaint. If this is truely the manager i will be filing with the BBB, as this type of service and false advertisement needs to be noted.
Great service, great iced tea. Super limited vegetarian options. I've been waiting so long to find a place in KC with pub Curry, I just wish there's had a meatless option!
Excellent place to see a local band. We saw the iBerrys. Fun time! Looking forward to seeing the Cowardly Lions this Saturday.
